At risk of seeming like a stalker after trading a couple comments already, I just had to tell you that finding out you like John Denver AND seeing your beautiful reaction to this song, which honestly is one of my favorites as well, I felt compelled to tell you (and everyone here) that this one got my sub with notifications and I look forward to seeing many more. Its always fun finding a great channel before the rest of the world does so we can see we knew you in the beginning before YT sent you all those 100,000 + sub plaques that I'm sure you'll be getting in the future! Your warm aura, your interesting choice of subject matter (Tomato Rasam recipe to Dawali explanation to county music to.....well, just a neat variety) and your personal interactions with people all convince me you'll be big soon.

My favorite artist of all time. Saw him live in concert many times. Master of the 12-string, an incredibly gifted lyricist, and a talented performer. Nine’s Song holds Avery personal and beautiful memory for me.

No need to apologize for getting emotional. This is one of the most pure, emotional songs of all time. There are very few perfect songs in the world, but this is one of them. What woman wouldn't want her man telling her these words? These lyrics are so powerful. We can tell that you really love this song. Thank you for sharing this with us. :-)

I saw John Denver in concert in Boise Idaho in the early 1990's. He passed way too young. :(

I agree with you, but it could be argued that the entire song is an ever rising surge of “the lines.” It’s a tour de force of emotion and yearning.

John Denver is another country artist I love besides Johnny Cash!!!! I love old country music. The new country to me is more like rock but there are still some country I like. Another artist lost too young. Air plane crash. R.I.P. John!!!!!

I haven’t heard this one before but it’s a good one. He does have a soothing voice. If you like John Denver and are looking for something to listen to at Christmas time check out the Christmas album he did with the Muppets 🙂....Great analysis of this song Vai 🙂
