What a timeless classic sung by the timeless "The Voice" himself. John did an amazing cover of this song while paying homage to the original by Procol Harum. I know I'm a little biased, but I prefer John's version. The way he can interpret a song means he has the ability to make any cover his own. I loved his vocals on this for they were powerful and just soared. And the emotion he conveyed moves you like no other, for it gave me chills. I can only imagine how even more beautiful this song would have been if performed live!!! Thank you for your reaction Vakasa and your thoughts on the lyrics, for I enjoyed this song very much. ❤🙏😊

I always loved this song, although never knew what it meant, and the original was awesome but John’s powerful vocals and range gives it the farnsey lift. Awesome cover of this classic song. Thanks for putting this up and giving us your interpretations. I sent you a msg on another thread for a request that was on my list called “love chooses you” I haven’t seen a live version but the recorded one is great.
