Newmont, Agnico, and Barrick are the first gold stocks for a gold bug to have in a portfolio as they are solid producers and dividend payers! Referring to the big gold producers? They haven't reported Q2 yet. The run up in gold price started right at the beginning of Q2. So when Q2 is reported (soon), those results will be the first that reflect the run up.

I think he gives out names hoping for liquidity. I remember him suggesting AIR.V and it got cut in half after that and has stayed there. I bet he was selling while he recommended it.

Unless you are buying a mining ETF or are a "do it yourself" fool like me, get assistance from pros and/or newsletters to pick individual mining stocks. Really tough sector and easy to lose money.
