When I worked on a Top Fuel drag boat we had a cannister just like the one in front of the LR tire with methanol in it. It is connected to the hat and fires up on the alky. You seem them switch off the feed from the alky bottle and it starts pulling the nitro from it's tank...

@@jamesturner8080 Yes, I made mistake what was it... oh yes, 8 years ago. It's nitrogen dioxide, not nitrous oxide - the difference is a swap between the nitrogen and oxygen atoms.
Is this a nitromethane car or a methanol car? I assume its not an alcohol car because the crew is wearing gas masks and alcohol fumes aren't nearly as bad as nitromethane or methanol.
Yes nitro but that black bottle you see is alcohol. They squirt gasoline down the injector to get it started, it draws alcohol from that bottle until they are happy with the timing then they pull the line from the bottle and and everyone starts crying lol.
It’s unusual for them to wack the throttle these days. It can change the expected clutch application during the run. They reuse friction plates based on how much sintered lining is left on it. He needs an explosion. blow the supercharger or something. Maybe hit Robert Hight or courtney Horse ( and no that is not a mistake). And Bratney needs to be disqualified
