Personal camcorder footage of John Force, father of Britney Force, as I just walked right up to the "BIG MAN" all willy nilly, not knowing a thing about "camcording"
Not sure of the exact year, but he came!!!
(New Announcer Tower was just built, bring Lebanon Valley Dragway to the "Big Time". I still miss the Old Little Tower and Tree!!!!
Surprised that he came to our local dragway, but he did and probably won't ever again.!! Unfortunately. Valley Dragway does not have enough stopping room for these monster machines and it is VERY VERY VERY dangerous to drive this track for funny cars with over 8000 HP.
But enough on that, He Came to OUR TRACK.. Wow
To meet John Force in person was a really exciting day for me. John dominates the field of Drag Racing and his charisma is simply the best. "WE Love John!!.
One of my favorite moments of all time, captured on film is walking up and John now loosening up after a long day, and he is eating a hamburger!!!
Simple pleasures
A couple other great moments, and close up where as a novice with the "new" camcorder and no nothing about recording yet, not that i do now, captured very very close as I just walked up, la de da. Now looking back, WOW, just walked right up to John on the starting line!!!!!
