Red Hot Chili Peppers' John Frusciante And Aura T-09 - Interview (Dublab: LA Phone Home) (July 29, 2021) #JohnFrusciante #Trickfinger #AuraT09 Partner: @PortalRHCP - (Instagram).
When i was 14 rhcp was playing in Stockholm my hometown. THE year was 2006 and that moment changed My lite Forever. I hade Never heard or seen anything like that in My whole lite. I struggled alot with depression and anxiety from an Early AGE but when i Saw Them play and John frusciantes guitarplayng it was like i felt i Also have a place that wasnt goin on in school.
I was sitting at the roof, when they came in Saint Petersburg with concert, and saw you guys in the big scoreboard, because on that moment I can't buy ticket. It was my stadium arcadium. And also John, you are great man(from fenders solo to electric beats) , and all of you guys from RHCP, bless y`all!🕉
He’s dating Aura he’s helping to promote her and obviously w the new album he’s going to be obligated to do some minimal press.. he seems happy w aura and I’m cool w whatever press he chooses to do or not to Any interview w John is a blessing
John looks like he's still 30 years old. He'll never be old. He's special and different. I think he belongs to a new kind of human species, where soul and body are as one. John, please, keep enlighting this damn dark world
He changed the way I viewed music when I was 11 years old in 2004. The man is unequivocally the best living guitarist. The chili's just weren't the same without him
By the way is still my favourite album of all time and my go to album after a heavy night raving back in the day (listening to similar music John is now putting out)!
I've never listened to John speak for this long and not care about anything he said. It was just awesome to actually see him engage in an interview and see him speak.
I can relate to John’s always holding back what he wants to say for a moment… and then trying to think of ways to say things that will explain what he’s feeling to the listener. He’s translating himself for the rest of the world and also holding back several other thoughts that also want to come out.
i think what makes john so special is that he's not making music for anyone but himself and he's certainly not doing it for money or fame. i'm really glad he's back with the chili peppers and has found a way to balance his other endeavors with the band.
@@99Maddux so he spent 10 years making records that maybe 1% as many people would listen to than if he stayed in RHCP? or has made 5-10 times less than his bandmates who stayed? he turns down money like crazy which is extremely rare. i'm not saying money is not an object or he didn't want to be famous, but it's not like he'd have stopped if he hadn't ever joined
@@99Maddux he was destined to be a famous guitarist. he had the talent from a young age and was really active in the LA music scene. it's unlikely he would have ended up not at least being a pro. something would've happened. but he got that by being all about the music and not the other way around
@@99Maddux and it's not like he's someone like eminem who skipped the talented musician part and jumped immediately to trying to sign a record deal. that's someone whose literal only objective is to make money, and there's nothing wrong with that especially if you have kids. if he had kids then i'd think it might be wrong for him to not care about money
I just saw them 2 weeks ago and was lucky enough to be right in front of the stage. OMG, when John came out, everyone was just chanting his name! He was glowing. His smiles is so genuine. The entire gig I was just looking at him and of course Flea.
lmao at the people mad that they didn't talk about RHCP when it clearly states that this is an interview about their record label and their electronic music lol. Shit just be glad to see him happy and healthy
It was 1998, I fell in love with John's guitar. He has been with me since then, a company during my whole life and all sort of events. He gives me what I need exactly when I do need it. It is incredible how he is able to speak to me through his music. Thank you my friend
How does he suddenly look like he came straight from 2006 now? He's looked like 10 different people over past 2 decades alone, I swear this dude shapeshifts
It would be superb to hear some electro in the new RHCP record bringing in JF's evolved sound. Trance is way 90s but with John's sharp musicianship there's no doubt he'll modernise it sonically. Excited!
@@ryangettig274 It wan not intentional. They were both doing drugs together, off and on for a number of years. The days before, they had been on a binge, and that night was just a tragic accident. Nothing more. Stop spreading lies.
1:09 A sign of being a life long professional musician. No mics worth a damn (i.e. costs more than $50) have those on/off buttons. Makes sense he would have never seen one. He just thought it wasn't working . . . 😅😂🤣
Also what kind of genius set up the camera? Like John is almost out of frame the whole interview and the interviewer also. The focal point is on no one like how does that happen?
I hope someone has a track listing of Marci's set. I was dancing and working out for most of it. It was supposed to be a rest day but I was super sweaty by the end of her set lol it was so good!!!
That's so awesome, that they start a record label, maybe that's a good step that music goes back to where it belongs, to be a medium where it's about art and not gaining as many clicks or cd sells as possible.
The best type of art IMO is when you don’t do it for anyone but yourself, a pure expression of who you are without regards to serving the ego, that’s a messy place ✌🏼
@@noone_you_know3860 that's very true, I also play a little bit of guitar, when I played for myself in my room, without even recording it, I felt sometimes really creative and full of joy, then I joined a band and let my ego take over, one if my greatest mistakes in life😅
I know why John was confused about the mic 🎤. Shure sm58 is a standard XLR mic without a on/off switch. Most people don’t buy sm58’s with the switch, it’s rare. The mic in this video is a the same mic I spoke of. Shure SM58 but they add a “s” at the end of the mic name to let you know it has a switch. John obviously doesn’t use the sm58S. He’s use to the original with no switch. ❤
Every time I see a JF interview I trip out on how he does not remotely look like his younger self from the BSSM days. Yes I know the surgeries and the drugs and dental work basically reconstructed his face, it’s still a trip even when you know exactly what happened.
Italians always seem to age fairly well, I’m glad to see he’s living a normal healthy life with his girlfriend. You can tell there chemistry is on point with each other the energy is incredible
Yeah! Agree! I’m so happy to find I really like his girlfriend’s style and vibe too, even the way she talks! As a straight girl who loves John as my fav musician, it’s more than amazing to be able to identify with his other half LOL😆
@@PANDA-JFpainter yeah!! I agree with you 😀 I think with all the failed relationships he has had from the past while touring with the chili peppers wore him the hell out, I think this girl is primarily a keeper for John , they just seem to get or understand each other. On top of that they kind of act like a married couple
@@Tom-op8yi they are now, but shes made it clear that he was careful and she did a good job of earning his trust. they were friends when nicole and john were married in the late 2000s/10s
@@luisdeleonm I think josh did a pretty good job on I`m with you and the getaway and even his solo stuff isn't that bad. he actually had a massive influence on them.
Loved the question around minute 28. I picked up on this too. For me their label's logo looks like sigil magic. I think they go a lot further than just "believing" in magic. Hopefully it's pure!
