@@samuelcano9042 I feel like people give Howard a lot of shit, but he loves music and is truly interested in the artists and everything that surrounds the music.
@@Mattormus Are you a little bit slow mate or under the influence of some form of drugs or alcohol or are you just looking to troll move along fuck wit
1:09 I’m not sure if he meant to, but when John turns off all 3 pedals after demoing the “jimi” tone, Chas kicks the drums in sync with John turning off his 3 pedals 🤯
Honestly it’s just the chemistry between the guys. You se many artists talk about memorizing body motions from your band mate and you know their next move. You gotta think about all the hours they’ve played together it’s nuts! Just like a QB and WR, they know exactly what eachother is thinking lol.
Tyler from music is win:this is my 5000 dollar guitar pedal and it sounds amzinggggg. John frusciante: these are just boss pedals and I put all three on at once.
Boss pedals are pretty good tho, specially when touring. Anyone that says otherwise is probably just an "audiophile boutique pedal junkie" that never played for more than 10 persons in their life.
Yeah... but the guitar is only expensive because of the market. It's just a standard Strat. No bells or whistles. So it's still in line with his way of doing things.
I love how Chad and Anthony are laughing about the whole thing at 00:34 😂 It's just such a funny thing to have John demo his shrunk down pedal board as if he's doing a piece for guitar magazine or something. We love to see this kind of thing obviously but stil, it's so funny at the same time
I remember when it was touch and go with John. Seems so long ago and since he's been back all he did was reinvigorate the band beautifully. Love me some RHCP!
A lot of players do it that way now. Make a fly rig pedalboard and have the venue provide a back line amp like a Fender hot rod deluxe or Marshall 4x12. Easy in, easy out.
@@scottarivett496 I think what he meant was that boss pedals are practically found all over the world where as say boutique manufacturers are harder to find and replace in a pinch
The middle orange, BOSS Turbo Distortion DS-2 has been made since 1987, good enough for Prince and Kurt Cobain. I bought one for 40 bucks. Lets see if Keeley, Walrus, Earthquaker Devices, Friedman etc are still around in 20 years...
It's interesting that it's the bosses on his shrunk down pedalboard. On his larger one its $1000 moogerfoogers and other retired rare and awesome pedals.
I was up front for Fire at Woodstock. Besides the half full 2 liter of Sprite that got thrown off my head, it was lit (almost got KO’d from that, was seeing stars big time).
@@jeandurand3095 don't be like that, obviously he's referring to hard drug use like Coke and heroin (like on their darkest years) not booze and a joint
AK gets really uncomfortable when someone asks JF questions. Anthony seems to really care for John but I also think Anthony harbors a little anger towards John for taking off so much. Interesting friendship
Listening to Howard Stern now days is like eating Ramen Noodles everyday for years. At first it's amazing, it gets you through the day and can do a lot of different things to it to keep it new. Then after a while you run out of ideas then it becomes repetitive to the point you can barely make it through a bowl.
Howard, completely unaware that the Chili's have been covering "FIRE" since Hillel was in the band. (why didn't he ask Anthony where he got that terrible haircut??)
