It all started with a letter from NJ Skateshop. The homies said “Come on home, John”. Unfortunately, by the time this piece of post reached John Gardner the COVID-19 pandemic was sweeping across the nation.

That's what I was thinking too - when I was outside of the US I was dying to skate at a local park. Once I came home I went to some parks I realized I really like to be out free riding and seeing stuff.

Sooo stoked for this!! Love everything OJ but the Cruisin’ vids are my fave part. Really diggin’ my Milton 55m and you got the Best cruiser wheels on the market! Right now I rock the Thunder Juices for a cruise with my dog hauling-ass while I hang on with the Thunders Rollin over everything!!

What I love most about John's skating is he shows that you don't need to do tre flip nose blunt big spins or hardflip down wallenberg to be pro. You can just be smooth, creative, and fun. It's not what you skate, it's how you skate. This man is a whole fucking vibe, and I love watching him cruise around and just have fun.

Just came across this video after ordering some OJ wheels a few days ago. I ordered them for my trip I'm planning. Just skating across America like this video. Except I'm just doing it to see the world and have fun. I'd love to record it and post it on RU-vid but no money but it's fine I just want to skate. I'm 18 an gonna be starting in New Mexico an moving city to city an state to state. Anyway wish me luck. Doing it alone. Wish I wasn't honestly but that's ok. I got myself.

Fuuuck.. 0:55 I'm both absolutely stoked and a little bummed lol Edit: I in no way was claiming to be anywhere near the level of John, just the 'type' in this project 🙂 Absolutely stoked to see the closest representation to what my skating is I've ever seen in a video. As someone who does this every day, this way just fucking rad beyond words. My disappointment was I thought the title was accurate lol 🤣 I was hoping to finally see someone else on a regular deck doing it (although I use harder duro 54mm almost always). My personal issues aside, this was absolutely sick! The variety of skating, terrain, bag of tricks... And the filming was perfect. Nicely done and thank you 🙂🤘

I left my creature cruiser at the bus top on the way to work. Left work to go back and get it and it was gone. At least I got my regular deck. But man the wheels come in handy and necessary to have two setups one for cruising and one for the regular street skating/sliding. So fucking bummed.
