The likes of Curtis W and John H might have made a shitload of money but for all the years they’ve spent locked in a concrete box it’s nowhere near worth it. Freedom is priceless
Thanks for this Billy. It’s your pearls I listen to, which with “Trrry” I’ve listened to loud and clear and stopped drinking alcohol and messing around.... I’m nearly a month off the ale, and continuing on the path of sobriety ❤
Isn't interesting how a little thing said to us, is EVERYTHING.. All the pieces of the jigsaw fit into place, with one sentence. Wishing you all the very best ❤
I had two close ones , was looking at 5 in the jug , was on bail for 3 years......made me think and I got off to Spain.....my dad said show me ya mates and I'll show you your future 😉 killing a clean life here now 👍my dad said any money you earn working on the dark side is a loan ......you'll end up paying it back in dough or behind the door.
Wise words laa be proud of yourself your putting some good back into the world and sometimes there's just that one kid you happen to want to get through to just like it did with you And that video will help with that keep up the good work lad
Too right. I remember like yesterday, a lad who lived next door to us in the early 80’s, was a few years older than me and my mates, we all looked up to him. We got involved in anything that kicked off at the match and local stuff. He got done for using a blade on a kid after a match. Banged up for I think it was 7 years, before he went down, I remember him saying to me, lad, don’t pick up the blade unless you are ok with doing a stretch, as it will happen to you, just like me. That gem from a good lad I respected and knew has served me well.
Hi Billy, thanks for another great vid!. It's very sad to think of a 74 year old in prison!. However, i believe that the individual needs to want to change, then be prepared to do whatever it takes to change even if they're difficult choices. I don't know John Hasse, never met or spoke with him. Only he knows the full story on what he did and why. Anyway he's 74 now and has just got a 9. He's made his choice to remain in the criminal lifestyle. So he has to take the consequences. He has to realise that he could die an old man in prison. Hopefully he will serve his sentence, get out and live what he has left, free, happy and at peace. However that's up to him and only him!. Anyway thanks again Billy. 🤔👍
Nice one Billy, well put.I 'kindve' feel sorry for these auld ones, their stuck in a rut-truely trapped-and cant get off.Hazer was living over Tranmere last I heard,Didnt know hed been breached.
Sadly, sometimes the pearls of wisdom don't hit home for many, many years, but when they do, they hit hard. The Pink Flloyd line, "one day you wake to find, 10 years have got behind you..." eventually triggered my desire to change.
Yeah you’re so spot on with that Billy . There has to be a point in these peoples lives where they’re thinking to themselves “ This isn’t right for me “ and need some peace in their lives. I’m sure some of these villains don’t ? Look at the Kray brothers they lived their life firmly entrenched in and around the criminal lifestyle and spent out their end days in jail. It’s no way to Experience life !
Your bang on billy lad first going in all fun n games iv been out 13yr now becouse of the birth of my 12yr old daughter im 46 now but was never out just listening to you reminds me of the days back then im doing ok now well i must be but love your content like this mate take care popps 😅
Bill, all we're got is just for today. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed for anyone. You get 2 dates in life, one when you arrive and one when you leave. We're powerless over both. The insanity of addiction and our thinking is the consequences that come with it, only if we stop doing the right thing Have a lovely day
Bill, I done 5 weeks in HMP Edinburgh in 2016 for a motoring offence when i was 45, first time in, hated every minute of it. Met some good lads, but met some horrible b'stards aswell. Prison is a bad place to end up. Thankfully no one tried to bum me, i must have been too old for that bumming caper 😁
Hope ya well bill John's getting old now can't believe he's still in he was a name bk then tefflon don dapper john stay safe lar big shout out ta judder and your Joe hope he s well and all the moores ❤
Sounds like the importance of a role model who has a positive attitude and guide boys and young adult males away from negative and destructive behaviour is a big part in promoting change. These kids need to feel that they matter and have a true sense of their own self worth. Meeting them where they are , developing positive relationships with adults in appropriate settings. Similar to yours Billy ,giving them hope and a vestev interest in their own future .
You all should read the book Powder Wars about high level drug dealing in Liverpool in the near past, eye opening to say the least. All the big names get a mention. If you think you know what went on back in the day, this book will show that you didn't.
John was a proper gangster I've heard some stories about him, but also a gentleman.... But I find it very sad that at 74 he should be enjoying his life as another commented its just his life and has been for 50 plus years..... Been lots of bullies in Liverpool who were found out but John was someone you didn't mess with.... He never needed a gang to go with him like they do today, they wouldn't stand around alin they're mid 20s making some poor old man's life a misery whenever he went the shops..... They think they are respected but they are hated and we all know it but it was different in his time
I highly recommend the book by Graham Johnson called Drug lord about John hasse he's the same author who wrote Frenchy's book The Devil. It tells it like it is and he's done some other good books about Liverpool's underworld too that just state the facts rather than the narrative the media like to push.
Too right there buddy spot on in what you are saying I swear I need to get on a podcast n tell my story of growing up to now I’m 43 in March I first went to Newton aycliffe secure unit @ 15yrs old in 96 landed in Doncaster jail in 97 with a 4yrs for burglary dwelling I got a judge called Hoffman @ Leeds crown court he hated burgulars cause his house got robbed n hated rapists cause someone rapped his daughter I landed on 2A juvenile wing 15-18 was ruthless n then cause I was doing a 4 I couldn’t go to Wetherby YO’S so had to go to moorlands with lads mainly 18-21 plus it was a cat A for yo’s so there was some really mad cases remember one lad from Darlington who killed his own mum to take is mates in her car propper fucked first place I seen someone get stabbed in neck with a bic biro pen I’ve seen n done that much madness I could write a book I’ve been out of my last 14mnth sentence since June 22 n don’t plan on going back I’ve seen it change so much over the years and the people that go these days are a complete clientele last time I could not believe how many were in for domestic violence take care buddy jack
He got out twice very early by being sharp. The first time was when he got a very senior customs officer to swear in court that he was helping to catch H importers. It's rumoured money changed hands. Micheal Howard the then Home Secretary got involved, it was said they are second cousins
I always operated on the theory that if it can happen it will happen an if people in my crew asked me strange questions an questioned me over violent acts than that ment to me that they were snitches an i can smell them people from a block away.
Billy e didn't set the house a light set the Range Rover a blaze an the garage caught fire then the house. So basically a botched job annnow Es got a do his rip crazy. As ur saying e should have his feet relaxing
So so true. One day your 18 next your 27. Still young then your 48 what happened in between is a flash. Which rd in life you take us your choice. . Plenty of millioners in jail. No good if you can't get a shower with out asking
Unfortunately like the saying goes, you can't put an old head on young shoulders. Very few young people listen to pearl's of wisdom, but I suppose if even one does it's a good start.👍🏻
A gangster was on here talking and about how he’d moved away from that life and he said what he really hates now is he can never open the front door if there’s ever a knock. He’d made too many enemies and that hit home.
anyone ever read graham johnsons book THE CARTEL its about the liverpool drugs trade and he refers to 2 charachters from toxteth who he gives the nickname KAISER AND SCARFACE they introduced curtis warren to the colombian cali cartel anyone know thier real names
That’s very sensible words mate Unfortunately the youth of today really don’t give a fuck? 16 year olds stabbing each other and honestly not thinking about the huge bird they are about to receive More like a badge of honour these days Sad times
