What a brilliant chance for these aspiring young kids to play with some of the top names in snooker. And what a great spectacle for the fans. That little kid looks like he is going to be a star! Hats off to Higgins and the other pros for how they made it so special for everyone.
While being an Octogenarian, I recently took to enjoying Snooker, this past year. I only played the game once back in my youth , I went to Canada to visit relatives in Nova Scotia and played it there. And its nice to see the camaraderie among peoples of the world because of it. and I'm sure this 10 year old will charish this memory in his old age! thanks for sharing. ECF
John Higgins the most friendly feet on the ground decent snooker great of all time. He could be pursuing so many other very lucrative business ventures, but he just wants to play snooker, like he's always done. He is just one of us folk, yet he is a snooker icon. MY favourite is ronnie of course but higgins deserves way more credit than he gets. pure legend.
@@garrygibbons2989 you already forgotten all the shady shit he was into in Ukraine? The fucker. Should be banned and shamed publicly like in medieval times.
That really was lovely to watch. Higgins left a few openings for him which was what you’d want and then put on a masterclass to then finish the way it did. Just brilliant. My favourite bit though was when they all had to pose for the cameras at the end - Selby’s face trying to keep his smile throughout was hilarious 😂
@@toziassmitt I didn’t think a player could replace a red ball…… I play casually up the local club. For about a year now never heard about this so just a bit confused.
At 9:38 while potting the green if you see the blue ball it was at the middle edge of the table..... and suddenly while going to pot the brown... the blue ball reached near the pocket... HOW??... The cue ball didn't even touched the blue ball after potting green....
Not again as he never actually cheated before, he was talking about it , he said to get out of an awkward situation and even if that's a lie and he was seriously considering taking the money THE FACTS are that he never actually took money or threw any games. He got done for failing to report that he was approached to throw games
@@davidmellish3295You shouldn't even talk to these people. I am more than sure that these are just envious of John who do not and will never have the success, fame and universal respect that John has. I am sure that everyone remembers this incident with the suspension of a dozen Chinese players who were accused of fixing matches with all the direct evidence of cheating that had already happened more than once. So, when this happened, 90% of the comments were like: “poor guys, they were just deceived,” “they made a mistake, we need to give them a second chance,” “the association is too strict on them,” and so on and so forth. I'm sure that when Yan and Zhao return to the game after the disqualification period expires, no one will even remember this, watching their success. But when it comes to John, who was deceived by his own manager by dragging him to this provocation without being given details, and who was eventually acquitted even of the charge of intending to fix the match, not to mention the fact that he was not even charged with the actual match fixing, oh yes, this disgusting, evil, greed-blinded creature will stab all his friends in the back, deceive everyone and strangle with his bare hands anyone who stands between him and a fistful of dollars. He's so driven out of his mind by his own greed that he'll have no qualms about risking his entire career and huge embarrassment for the amount of money he usually earns each season when he had already earned several million, which ensured a comfortable existence for himself and several generations of his relatives. Just look at his vile face, you can immediately see that he is a vile deceiver. Look at what he is doing, he is already spoiling children with his bad influence. Proving to such people that their accusations against John are absurd, it is a waste of time, because they stand their ground solely out of personal hostility towards John, without listening to rational arguments.
Imagine being so good at snooker that youd entrust a kid to take the final black of your 147 because youve probably made so many you couldn't care less if he missed
