John Jarratt on playing Mick Taylor in Wolf Creek 

Absolutely brilliant actor, it's a shame he's so underrated.

This guy has become one of my all time favourite horror villains. He is amazing as Mick Taylor. I really hope there will be a third movie!

such a talented actor. i know it's horror but he's so developed as a character in wolf creek... and so gentle when speaking normally!! some character.

After seeing Wolk Creek 1 and 2 it´s weird to see some humanity on that face...

He's so soft spoken, it's hard to believe he played such a brutal, terrifying character!

Jarratt is the Aussie Sir Anthony Hopkins... After playing Hannibal so convincingly, it was difficult to see him outside the role. John gives an equally brilliant performance as Taylor.

Im an Aussie and I think John's performance in wolf Creek and wolf Creek 2 is terrifying. He is bloody scary as hell! I think I'd be scared meeting him IRL coz he's so convincing

I think John is a great actor. I hope people can discover some of his back catalogue, as he had a distinguished career long before Wolf Creek came along. His first lead role was way back in 1975 in an ambitious little film called The Great McCarthy. Interesting that he mentioned Ned Kelly - the first time I ever saw him on screen, as a kid, was in The Last Outlaw, a mini-series in which he played the very same bushranger. Good tv, with a great cast.

Jarratt is simply a talented comedian specialising in the blackest comedy in history. If Monty Python did a quiz skit where a guy lost a digit each time he got the answer wrong, nobody would bat an eyelid. We'd all be rolling on the floor. Taylor simply crosses the line from the absurd to reality. That's where the real horror comes from.

I can't see him as an actor after wolf creek, he's a psycho in my eyes lol

It’s strange people take him so seriously. It’s literally a character he is portraying. It’s not him or anything to do with him. His whole job as an actor is to bring said character alive. If people are intimidated by him because of that role... well. Just means he did his job right. That’s the whole point of acting. It sucks he lost work over being such a great actor.

Both awesome movies and an incredible actor. Mick Talor is at the same time charasmatic, hilarious and intimidating.

He is great in Boar. In Rogue he is great, but the monster ( Crocodile) hunts him and the people on the boat they are in. Boar is Awesome. Love movies where the Outback is the backdrop.
