JOHN JOHN FLORENCE | 2X WORLD CHAMPION 

Two years ago, I had no connection or interest in surfing. I don't live near the sea, and the only thing I knew about surfing was that you're catching waves. Then, I just happened to watch the 2015 Pipe Masters. It was round 3, and John John got a 9.3 and a 9.93 on two perfect pipe waves. I still didn't understand what he was doing or how difficult it was, and never heard the name John John Florence before, but it was just so beautiful to watch. And that was it. This was the moment that changed my life. I fell in love with surfing because of JJF, and after his wins at the Eddie and in Rio I started surfing myself. Surfing is just magical. There's nothing that brings me more joy than paddling out as the sun just start rising, seeing the beautiful colours of the sky and the clouds, standing up on a wave feeling like I'm floating, and then paddling back out with a big smile. Nothing. And all of this happiness came into my life thanks to John John Florence. I seriously don't know how I would have been able to stay positive throughout hard times if it wasn't for surfing. There are not enough words to thank you, John John. I thought I that maybe I will find them, but when I saw you with my sister on a rainy lay day in Portugal, all I was able to say after you signed my leash was "Thank you so much! Good luck in the contest!" "Thanks, have a good day", he said and smiled his genuine smile. The day after I watched him getting barreled in the contest, and oh, that was so amazing. The type of surfing John John does is just breathtaking because it's so beautiful. Congratulations on your second world title John John! I couldn't be happier for you. I'm going to save money, and one day I'll have enough to go to Hawaii and watch you win your 4th, 7th, 12th or whatever world title it will be. Thank you again for everything.

He's the pure definition of Surfing

Thank you so much, John! You inspire me to surf everyday (even if it is 1 foot barely bodysurfable) an to enjoy every single moment of it. When a freak surfer like John John combines being super humble and also confident in his ability then watch out world. This kid is gonna do BIG THINGS for as long as he wants. Congrats John John. 👍💪☝️

I really like and admire the talented and sensational surfer who is JJFlorence always great tuber rider with great progressive maneuvers of a very beautiful style of surf in any wave condition in the world ... but we know that the 2 x champion he won is not fair ... for the injustices done to the opponents in the heats that helped him in this, all the other athletes who were harmed so that he could benefit from the sum of the results at the end in several stages during the year ... we value victories on their own merits , not favoring judges sponsored in VARIOUS stages and decisive disputes, it was clear the help of the results for him. to be benefited unfortunately ... we just want no athlete to benefit from disputes either from BRAZIL or from any country in the world in the race for the title throughout the year ... aloha to everyone !!!!
