Not a hater of Mayer by any means. Amazing guitarist. But somethings just not there. John K just lays down the melodies so much better. Seen D and comp but didn’t compare to Merle and John K. That’s ok though. Keeps the crowds down. ;)
Of course. Everyone knows it. Word was, Kreutzmann didn't like John as a person for some reason. Ruined the Dead experience after that with hiring of pretty boy narcissist Mayer.
