Does that really matter? He mentions her experience with the WWE to enhance why she would be seen as qualified in her role. He mentions it to say she was part of growing something from a small business to the conglomerate of its industry. That doesn’t really require him to say “I was a wrestler in her company” which most everybody knows anyways.
