Public has wildly overestimated the federal government and the defense contractors --- it assumes that its made all sorts of tech advances and has all sorts of UFO research ongoing --- in fact the federal gov and its contractors are just feeding at the public trough -- it is a slow, lazy incompetent sloppy effort wherever you look --- it hides its sloppy work from the public very easily abusing its discretion, and always keeps the public in the dark about all of this stuff. I base this on my career in the federal gov 22 years, I found that it has contempt for the public, it overclassifies routinely. I bet if you somehow were able to inspect what the gov has in its possession you'd discover that it has UFOs etc but has learned little about them and has been completely negligent about the whole subject. Has the gov bothered to catalogue it all? Has the gov bothered to inspect all the cattle mutliations? Why isnt it all public?

A legend at making defense contractors money is about all he was good at. It is also possible Lear did not know he was being mislead and delivered you incorrect information.
He always sounded credible, especially when you did your own proper research into the subject and didn't just scoff or laugh at topics that go beyond most people's head. And if you made your own UFO experience, it's not a question of belief, you KNOW what you (and others) saw/experienced.

opposite experience for me, and I have photographed one ufo this february 10th the day before several objects were shot down in canada, this year 2023 so i believe and although it all sounds outlandish, because i've already twice seen things most people would in other days have had me committed for saying, I am just saying its mostly quite believable to me and he is being forthright humble and honest - that's how this Canadian sees it , I'm 54 and have strong IT background , smart guy here, i know when im shooting photos of a ufo for 30 minutes with my samsung s21 ultra at the time to me, this all felt 100% genuine @@KatyWellsKingsland

The statements from Mr. Lear in 1987, are remarkablely similar to those of the most recent government whistleblower, as far as the government has possession of several alien craft and several (five) different types of Aliens. The fact that Lear stated that the majority were hostile is quite sobering.

I`ve met two of these beings. They helped me. Saved my life. Not sure why but a lot of strange things have happened to me. A lot of it, especially the UFOs and missing time, was really frightening. (My belief is that Area 51 and S-4 and all that are red herrings. The interesting part is that Bob Lazar, in a subsequent interview (I think it was in '97), said that he saw this interview and thought to himself: "This guy John Lear must have lost his mind!". And after he returned from working in the S4 complex, he somewhat redeemed himself by telling John Lear, in person, what he saw inside the base, confirming some of Lear's research.
Lazar knew Lear before he was hired at S4. The team that hired Bob knew it, and hired him anyway. They must have guessed Bob would talk to John (& eventually the world) about his experiences. Maybe that was the point. Maybe they wanted a certain story put out.

It hasn't really been a secret. I've been listening to George napp, John Lear, Linda Moulton Howe and many others for years. The information has been out there, it just wasn't taken seriously by mainstream media.
I've never seen this and am dumbfounded by how honest and foretelling Lear's being in this candid interview, especially a televised interview. I've dug through so many rabbit holes on so many platforms just to find pieces of things that he mentions that are conveyed in recent interviews like they're breaking the 4th wall of our reality. All of the niche figureheads involved in disclosure as well as whistle-blowers have mentioned, as stated previously "pieces" of the same talking points he's covering yet it's taken me about 2 years to find all of it out (for what it's worth mind you) but here Lear is listing those details off word for word corroborating everything that's out there in one sitting and WAY before anyone I've listened to knew it. The facts are John Lear was a very intelligent man. His father also invented the Learjet. Fact he held a lot of Records in aviation I believe around 17 of them. Say what you may but the man definitely was intelligent. Beyond that that's all I know.

We don’t have a wealth of evidence. The strongest case we got is Ariel Phenomenon and the Varghina case. Most of Lear’s claims in this video are unfounded. 30-50 aliens in cryo? No evidence to back it up. He also said aliens cross breeding? He’s gone off his rocker unfortunately
As a Canadian citizen, I have always been fascinated by the fact that Americans have had significantly more enthusiasm about this compared to other nations.
When John Lear addressed this subject, many idiots criticized him. Over the years, more evidence emerged and accumulated proving that he was 100% right, including in relation to the hostile agenda of these beings.
I like how the interview stays in the middle of believing and not believing. I’m sure he believes with all his heart but stays unbiased and asks the right questions.
I love these early interviews. Funny to think watching these young versions of people I have become very familiar today chatting about a subject I find fascinating as an adult was originally aired at a time my younger self as a child was still hiding behind the sofa during Doctor Who.
