Silence is compliance. We refuse to be silenced. Our voices will be heard. This is the Glory Project.
Recorded on October 12, 2015, this arrangement of "Glory," led by executive producer John Liner, was created in collaboration with nearly 75 artists, musicians, and engineers from around the world who came together to make their voices heard in the fight for racial equality.
Without a doubt, every single person involved with this project has taken a firm stance against the racially charged atrocities that have plagued the United States in the past several months.
This video features artists from 15 states, 11 countries, and 5 different continents. To make this happen, a four hour instrumental
recording session took place at Perfection Studios in Charlestown, MA, followed by a grueling sixteen hour vocal session at The Record Company in Boston, MA. Every artist who participated walked into the room with their hearts and souls completely open; ready to unite and lift their voices against racism and racial inequality.

“‘Glory’ is a song originally performed by rapper Common and American recording artist John Legend. Written by Legend, Common and Che ‘Rhymefest’ Smith, the song was released on December 11, 2014 by Columbia Records as the theme song from the 2014 film, Selma, that portrays the 1965 Selma to Montgomery marches.”
The Glory Project is a collegiate collaboration led by John Liner, and cofounded with Jordan Hope, that brings awareness to racial inequality and educates people on the Black Lives Matter movement through panel discussions, video interviews, and a music video of the song “Glory” from the movie Selma.
