After the Beatles disbanded in 1970, Lennon embarked on a successful solo career, releasing albums like "Imagine" and "John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band."
Tragically, Lennon was assassinated in New York City in 1980, cutting short his life and career but leaving behind an enduring legacy as a musical pioneer and cultural icon.
