Here's a cover of one of my favourite John Lennon songs; Woman, released in 1981 shortly after his death and appeared on his last solo studio album released in 1980.
In 1980 I had a sunny new home in Florida, a wonderful new job, and a whole new outlook on life. And apparently John Lennon had a new outlook too, finally having great new singles on the radio to match the great (and sometimes not quite so great) songs McCartney had run up the charts since the Beatles broke up. How sad and senseless to have him shot down.
