Have you ever wished, reading about an historical moment, oh, to have been there. We are privileged to have been here with this man, this great American.
I appreciate the sacrifice's and many decisions he made that influenced an impacted the life I live..I PRAISE GOD for his life's purpose fulfilled MAY GOD BE WELL PLEASED AS SO MANY OF US ARE SO VERY GRATEFUL AND PRIVILEDGED.. I always notice the military is always ON ONE ACCORD. NO MATTER WHAT DIVISION OF THE MILITARY YOURE IN, UNIFORMS IDENTIFY YOU BUT THE ORDER IS THE SAME SO PRECISE. NAVY, ARMY, MARINE, AIR FORCE ALL TOGETHER IN THAT BEAUTIFUL CEREMONY SO PROFESSIONAL AND ORDERLY..
Thank you John Lewis, you fought the good fight, now enter into your eternal rest in the joy of the Lord with your other loved ones and friend Dr Martin L King jr
May god Bless him , This is a Great American , RIP Respect for the way you lived your life. when i watch the old black and white clips of him i can only say what a Brave and Great American. Thank you for all you done .
Attention Government of the United States of America: After this prestigious funeral for one of our great elders, are you going to free John Lewis’s people from slavery. Remember he worked long and hard for freedom and rights for his people. They shouldn’t have to vote to get a piece of the pie. After this funeral I black people now free or they have to die first?
A couple of honor guard members were struggling to keep their footing because of the loose carpet. I was scared there for a minute. That would have been a total disaster.
That is the tackiest setup i have ever seen. This is a high profile service and a supposively top of the line organization handling the service and you allow a setup like this to take place, please.
Jogn Lewis was a very humble man. He would not have minded at all. He is with the Lord. His shell is in that box and his shell has no knowledge of or cares about what you call the 'setup'.
MS.DONNA.M. A man who did a lot and went through a lot for this country deserves a burial without the masks. I know there’s a pandemic but That isn’t alright
MS.DONNA.M. The whole mask thing reminds me of a hospital. I know the body is just the shell of former living being and he did his part for humanity but I could due without the mask if I was to bury someone with such a legacy. I mean, I guess I’m still not really used to this time we’re in.
MS.DONNA.M. Very true. He did and he held his own. That’s all anyways. Mad respect for him though. My original comment was directed towards the marines carrying the casket.
