I'm speaking from Portugal and I'm currently working on my master's degree in traditional japanese architecture and it's contribution to contemporary architecture, and one of my case study projects will have to be Fukuoka Housing by Steven Holl, since is very much influenced by the fusuma. Thank you for the great lectures, I really appreciate them! Although I do not understand why use a portrait of Mona Lisa as a comparison to a landscape painting. Shouldn't we compare landscapes with landscapes?
