I listen to Pastor John macarthur sermons twice sometimes three times a day! It's a blessing to have him at this time of the century! Let God bless you and your family more .
Danny Tilaye yeah, he says you can take the mark of the beast and still repent. My bible doesn’t say that-but I guess if he says it then he knows mores than God. I love false teachers, they make the world go round. Please take the mark so you can buy and sell and worship the beast and go to hell with John! Good guy there....

@@faithparent9221 I've watched the question and answer session where John MacArthur was asked about taking the mark of the beast. His answer was to the effect that, if you are CAPABLE of repentance for taking it, and since the Bible tells of ONLY ONE unforgivable sin, then theoretically you could be forgiven. We don't know how the mark of the beast will come about, perhaps it will be possible for someone to receive the mark without really understanding the full ramifications, and afterwards to repent. Or, perhaps the mark will be taken only by those whose hearts are so hardened toward God that they will never repent. Either way, God has the final say, as I'm sure John MacArthur would agree. But, John was just answering an hypothetical question, possibly asked by someone who was concerned about friends or family making a decision they would regret. I wish people would stop jumping to conclusions and judging him on a comment he made once, in answer to an hypothetical question. He's never actually preached such a thing.

I have to agree with all these people who have such a awesome report of the preaching/ teachings of Pastor John MacArthur, he has such a way of giving Gods word and explaining even when using the greek or hebrew root words in his teaching helps me so much, and there is something about his love for Gods word, Gods church and Gods people that once you've heard him you know that he's teaching's of Holy Scripture is teaching's of truth and there's no doubt of it ! He also has introduced me to other great teachers of the word like R.C.Sproul , Sinclair Ferguson, Steve Lawson and I can go on and on, so I am so thankful for all these Godly men!

This hits home so hard, as an adopted person unwanted on the day of birth...then adopted, crowned and provided with the very best, became a teen and played the harlot, in severe sin til early 20s making a mockery of the God and family who plucked me from the fire as an infant.... then he graciously saved my soul and clothed me in righteousness and new life which beams forth brighter each day. Now I'm 32 and working on my foster license. God is GRACIOUS and MIGHTY TO SAVE. Praise Jesus Christ the KING 💝

@@imag218 I'm still quite new in my spirituality & im often contemplating what God's will is and His will is what is in the bible, we don't need any love, except that which comes from Him, we only need God's love and FELLOWSHIP of the righteous, unfortunately, even family can be unrighteous... Should we seek love from them? Man is fallable. Im fortunate enough to have a mother that has provided earthly things (the love of a parent, shelter, food, security, education within her means) I was abandoned by my father, i don't know who he is, so i cannot relate to the horrors this gentleman faced, but God recently revealed to me, that the only love I need is His, because I went looking for love in ALL the wrong places (I had a "an older daddy syndrome" but in as as much as I love my earthly mother, when i have to choose, without a heartbeat, i will ALWAYS choose God

No, he poured out his life to the entire community while walking the earth. Remember, God will give us over to a reprobate mind after he had shown us the truth and we reject it. So it's not unusual for people who claim to love Jesus to be completely and utterly deceived. I've never met a biological relative. Yet my sense of the importance of family is strong. Why? Because of Christian's who loved me selflessly. I hope the community that God designed to edify your life will come to you, so you dont have to find them. It doesn't need to be big, or often, but Jesus lives IN his people. "The kingdom of heaven is in you." And he made us all 1 body. "There is 1 body but many parts. All its many parts make up 1 body. It is the same with Christ." -1 Corinthians 12:12. There is no such thing as a Foot that walks around all by itself. It is attached to a body, or it is dead. Many blessing to you. I praise God that the teaching and preaching of men like John MacArthur, the late RC Sproul, Steve Lawson, Joel Beeke, Voodie Baucham, John Piper, Paul Washer, etc.. are still on RU-vid. Men who preach the Supreme Sovereignty & Holiness of God and that ALL stand condemned to eternal punishment without the righteousness of Christ accounted to them through real saving Faith.
Wow....Perhaps the best sermon on GOD'S love I have ever heard. It makes me understand that GOD is really GOD. HE is nothing like us humans. HE is so worthy and we are so unworthy, and yet HE sovereignly chose to save some from the scrapheap of humanity when HE could have rightly sent the whole world to hell. There are some hard pills to swallow in this sermon. I hope no one leaves this sermon feeling smug, arrogant and self - righteous as some Calvinists tend to do. This should humble you. You are loved, But INSPITE of you.
I love my Heavenly Father. My Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. God is precious, as is His Heart. Beautiful Lord God and His gifts are precious. It's sad to hear of the idolatrous things done to Him. Wow. John MacArthur put it well too.
"Arise, O Lord, let not man triumph; let the nations be judged in your presence. Strike them with terror, O Lord; let the nations know they are but men." Psalm 9. This, I believe, applies to John MacArthur as well.
I googled love of god and came to this talk. Let me get to the point. When people are looking for the love of God. They need to know that God is love. That's what the scripture says and that's what he should be teaching. It is the love of God that draws us to repentance. If you don't get that you don't get anything but hopefully you will be enlightened to be surrounded by God's amazing divine love. It lifts us up and as we look at God's love we reflect it. That's what the Bible says. Since we are living in the grace administration, then we must know that God's grace, unmerited defined love, favor, is available to us by faith. Faith is another word for what we think. If we think on the love of God then we are in alignment with God and with his word and will. Once again, it is the love of God that draws us to him and to repent of doing or thinking anything that is outside his will. Because of that, I couldn't get through more than a few minutes of this teaching. The man needs to understand who and what God really is. Only then can he really be a man of God.
Every parent would know what forgiveness is and what love is , do you remember any of the bad things your children have done and you forgive automatically and if most won't love then what would our creator want from us , who is the first provider, with faith hope and love to all
Wow, at time track 44min. I had a revelation. Peter had to deny Jesus or else he would be caught by the Roman authority. Then there may not be the mass conversion through Peter's sermon during the 1st century church. This is such a great time to protect and keep Peter in humility and Christ strength.🙏💖✝️

I am surprised as I read through the comments to learn as to how some people have learned so much wrong understanding of God. In modern day translations the Gospels are clearly written, as to the extent and power of God, which extends to anyone and everyone who recognises Jesus as the Son of God, and consequently our saviour. Could that be made any more clear? We are warned that there is only one unforgivable sin against the Holy Spirit. All we are required to do now is to live as a disciple, by following Jesus, in His teaching. Let’s get on and do it without delay. Bless you.
MacArthur as usual is very encouraging in his preaching. I’m thankful to learn from him the past 20 years. Nonetheless, always compare to the Word of God like the noble bereans… nowhere in the bible says that God compartmentalizes his love… even logically, if God is love, how can love a person 70% and a born again 100%? He is love, he cant deminish him self, he loves because he is love. Try to explain this then…Jesus leaves the 99 sheep for the one lost.. Invest time hearing MacArthur, Washer, Piper, Sproul.. the will help you delight in God, but please remember they are men, fallible… only the word of God is infallible.
A man of God's choosing for such a time as this. I'm thankful for this pastor. I learn so much TRUTH of the BIBLE. I purchased John's study BIBLE, NKJV. So helpful.
When John Macarthur raise the question ; why God cannot love others the way He love Israel His own ? My simple answer is : because Israel (jacob) was insistent about God to love him though he’s sinful & deceitful in His Eyes ! Remember the story about Jacob , wrestling with an Angel , and the Angel finally agreed !, this is the reason !!! Israel’s love for God was so heroic that cost him disability for a lifetime , he was Cripplled !!! That’s why God in response , returned to Israel the kind of love he wanted ! And this is exactly true to everyone who manifest love for God , in all generations , from Adam & Eve up to His Coming Again ! God bless to those who hears !
@Susie Dyck Susie, I want to point out that Pastor MacArthur's sermon is without error verse-by-verse, if you have your bible in hand, read along with him and all he is doing is reading according to the specific assignment, exactly what those bible passages say. He is not gathering passages that would solve ones problems whether you can do certain thing to attain salvation. THAT IS A DIFFERENT QUESTION. FOR INSTANCE 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17-21. ... ANSWERS THAT QUESTION FOR YOU. LOOK UP PASTOR MacArthur's sermon on The Reconciliation ... he will tell you exactly what it means. ... Pastor MacArthur, again, preaches everything verse by verse, according to assignment, in this case, given by Ligonier.
The more I really listen to him I start to think. Is it possible he has not had a life changing encounter with God. Will John Macarthur say one day, lord lord, I've preached in your name and lord, lord ive taught theology in your name? Is his theology more important to him then God and if he can't see the difference then thst would answer my question.

JM is a false teacher - Lordship Salvation is one of the other gospels that Paul warned about and that is what JM teaches. He was not the first and only pastor to "open" his church but was a "Johnny come lately". Other pastors in Las Vegas, Hawaii, and CA did it first. The Las Vegas church lost their battle at the Supreme Court but JM hires a Catholic law firm and gets a ruling in one day in his favor. Masons don't go to prison. JM capitulated on social distancing and masks and that alone will severely hurt those churches in California trying to stay open and not get arrested. For more evidence about who this guy is you will have to dig deep to find out about his summer camps for high schoolers. They engage in druidism - tattooing, pig sacrificing, satanic dancing around this pigs head. Truly disgusting, certainly not preparing these kids for Christianity. He moved the whole canp operation back to CA from TX and removed all the photos from his website but the information is still around if you search for it. If JM makes you feel bad or if you are questioning your salvation - this is the bain of Lordship Salvation. Not the good news of Jesus Christ.
He actually never said that, better yet his words were taken out of context. Another pastor named Phil Johnson was with pastor MacArthur when he talked about that. Pastor Johnson said that someone asked pastor MacArthur a hypothetical question asking “If a person who took the mark of the beast heard the Gospel, was convicted and truly desired to be saved, could they be?”. Pastor MacArthur said “Hypothetically, yes they could”. He did not say that in reality people who take the mark of the beast will be saved or even have the desire to be saved. He was only speaking in hypothetical terms. If you would like to see this, go to Doreen Virtue’s RU-vid video where she interviews Phil Johnson and asks him about what John MacArthur said. For the record John MacArthur is NOT a false teacher. He is a man of God who truly preaches the Gospel. I’ve heard countless sermons and can say he is biblically sound in teaching. @@susantubetop40 You don't know what Lordship salvation is. A lot of people use this as an excuse to live in sin. 1 John 3 says a child of God will not make a practice of sinning and anyone who does not practise righteousness is of the devil.

The whole world will acknowledge Him as Lord one day, confessing with their lips and bowing in submission, even against their will! If we turn our lives over to Him, to become His disciples, then He is our Lord and Master. If you don't acknowledge Him as your Lord and Master, how can you possibly be His disciple?!!?? 🤪

He said “Manning”, more than likely Brennan Manning. He wrote “The Ragamuffin Gospel” and influenced much of the music of Rich Mullins. But a little digging shows Manning got into some dubious meditation stuff.
Susan According to the story of Job you have this Omnipotent God who is being challenged by a mere angel a being he created this angel has to be aware that God knows everything so God takes the bet. The result of the Challenge is that an upright man's life is almost completely destroyed. He's tormented physically and psychologically all because his Creator wants to prove something to this measly little angel. Does that make sense? God even allows satan to take Job's family. But this wonderful God then gives Job a new family. He makes it all better in the end. This is Heinous! How many people do you think would accept God's will if he decided to let your family die, have you physically and psychologically Tortured? How would you be if God allowed your son, daughter, wife, or husband to be killed all over a BET? Would you be ok with it since God promised to replace your family with a new one. Please give a honest answer.
We would not love him in our nature. Until he draws us to him ,men loved darkness rather than light. Looked up that verse it says. A fools mouth is his destruction and his lips are the snare of his soul.
Wonderful message, so well laid out. Loved having all the scriptures (though they are few compared to all there is in the Bible on this subject, one can fit only so much into an hour talk) to look at while MacArthur was speaking. God's love is far more than the most "God is love" advocate imagines. It's enough to truly humble the proudest and most sinful of us all. It certainly humbled me, and continues to do so. All glory and honor belongs to Christ.
Wow! Amazing insight and understanding. Thank you Dr John for sharing. I never understood that God’s primary love is for His Son Christ Jesus. Jesus came to save the World, not to condemn it. God loves us with an eternal love only when we belong to His Son, when we are part of His Holy Living Body. For God is from everlasting to everlasting, therefore we know that God loves His Son Christ Jesus from everlasting to everlasting. As Paul writes, when we are born again (not of the lust of men but by the power of the Holy Spirit of God) we are from that moment eternally joined with Jesus and are seated with Him in the heavenly realms at the right hand of God our Heavenly Father. Gods love for us is therefore the same eternal love He has always had and will always have for His Son Christ Jesus. Amazing grace, amazing love. I am so grateful that I am so loved, even when I was a totally lost sinner, Jesus never gave up on me. Praise God for His gracious, merciful, and life giving love.

I'm sorry, I like many of his sermons but I find him very contradicting. He teaches God only loves his elect, and God loves the the whole world. He teaches irresistible grace and we can reject the Gospel. He teaches that there is salavation even after someone accepts the mark of the beast ect.
Hoaxer Christian writers who created the resurrection hoax did not realize that the sin-sacrifice-resurrection story implies a superstitious God who values blood-sacrifice, which was a common practice back then (e.g. sacrificing a goat for a new home). Do you have difficulty admitting that the superstitious early folks who valued blood sacrifice created the God of The Bible in their own image?
@@susiedyck4914 firstly the love for the elect is a different kind of love than the love for all. Secondly, yes he is right. Taking the mark of the beast is not the unpardonable sin. One can be forgiven.
@@susiedyck4914 He doesn't really contradict himself - not if you take everything he says in the context in which he says it. Actually, he often explains the so-called contradictions in scripture. God DOES love the whole world, which is why he hasn't obliterated it so far, and which is why He pours out His grace on the whole world (sunshine and rain, beauty and love). But, He has a special love for His elect, which makes perfect sense if you consider the natural love people have for their OWN families 😁 As far as the mark of the beast issue, he never actually TAUGHT what he has been accused of. It happened in a question and answer session that someone asked him a hypothetical question about it. His answer was to the effect that it isn't mentioned in the Bible as the UNFORGIVABLE SIN, so if someone is ABLE to repent for taking it then they could receive forgiveness. The question would be, are they able? There is no forgiveness unless they do repent. We don't know how the mark of the beast will come about, so we don't know if someone could receive it without really understanding the full ramifications. Or, take the mark and then come to the Lord. The question was hypothetical anyway. Anyway, I've watched the video where John MacArthur was asked the question, and I'm sorry and annoyed that everyone seems so intent on condemning him on 2nd-hand, hearsay information which is not giving the full story.
