@@philippweritz6011 its a cool progression. its takes the iv, and the VII of C minor (Eb Maj) but then plays a c major as it is Cmin's parallel major. if it were in Bb or FMaj the F would be major, idek dude haha hurts my head thinking about it. if music theory ninjas could help clarify that would be steeze

I love this but what's the progression of the bridge and chorus?

@@keiranmccarthy4150 I personally look at the chord progression as a deceptive cadence in Eb maj; essentially a vi - iim7 - V - vi (in this case Cm - Fm7 - Bb - Cm) The ii - V is a familiar movement, but resolving to the relative minor (vi) instead of the tonic makes the progression sound darker. Old love by eric clapton uses the same progression (starting on Am) but the V chord is a Vsus4 resolving to the V. Just my 2 cents, I hope this helps people understand the loop.

Aaron Renata, could you explain why you think those are the chords? I'm trying to understand theory. From the chords he's playing throughout the song and on 1:51 I'd say it's a Cm key. Throughout the song he then repeats C(m?)-Fm-Bb-C(m?) and a Eb-Gm on 1:51. I'm also confused by his apparent switching between major and minor on the C chord. For example, in his noodle around 0:35 hear a Bb note (not in the major scale) but a second later I hear a n E (not in the minor scale). Also by your choice of chords I suspect you think it is a different key. Could you explain that? I would love to hear your thoughts!

@@noahmarquis4809 hhhhhh i’m not sure but i think he just made a bars with his pinky fingers and put his index fingers on the D Rope ( i dont know the chords)

@@user-cy4ti9fo5c I've done a little experimenting and I think he's putting his pinky on the 13 of the B, ring on the 13 of the G, index on the 11 of the D and his middle on the 13 of A. That sounds about as close as I could get
