The performance of Split Screen Sadness from last night was one of my favorite live performances of his ever. There was something extra special about it-the different guitar textures, the pacing, the fact that it's a song he doesn't play a ton, etc. I turned to my friend and said this moment is going into the top 5 JM vault for me.
Was lucky to be in the crowd this night. Easily one of the most memorable performances I have seen from JM in the 26 shows I have seen from him. Just a magical night in MSG with Mr. Mayer.
What a beautiful and heartfelt rendition of Split Screen Sadness! Love how he transitions with the U2 lyric in between his two songs. Sitting halfway across the world with the sadness that I can't catch a show but this video made my day. Thank you for posting it. 🙏🏼
I would love to see him in person buuuutttt I have two children who need clothes, toys, foods birthdays Christmas etc it’s always something to save up for so my wants get put off😢. Maybe one day?!
