No! The first blockchain application was tied to US Patent #8,798,040 B2 before the release of BTC, and the code for the ledger table latency was stolen from it's creator's company. The creator also told the patent lawyers that crypto would be hacked when they told him to buy BBTC because all of the Internet is a rigged controlled thing a long with computer languages that are full of human error. And, the creator was friends with John McAfee.
This Video needs to go Viral... I try to share it on every Crypto Video I watch on RU-vid. I even saved a couple copy's just incase RU-vid took it down.
@@stevejobs3895 needs to go viral so people are confused about bitcoin? come on! you let this guy fool you to easy! Bitcoin is King! was and always will be! the fact that he says nobody is accepting btc as payment is such lies!!! everybody wats to be paid in btc.. famous celebreties and sports people!!! Even that loser Kevin Oleary said btc is a "nothing burger" and now hes all over it cause the feds are gonna regulate something that doenst need to be regulated by anybody other than the people using it .
John was not a perfect man but I will always remember his pioneering mindset and his decentralized spirit in the early days of crypto ...rest in peace to the 🐐
@Marius Samartean , Wrong. The reasons and there are many for Bitcoin holding it’s value is because you get what you pay for. Bitcoin is expensive to make because of all the technology involved. Today there is no cryptocurrency that’s as good.
@Marius Samartean , Wrong again. Bitcoin will remain the future of cryptos. We don’t have the technology to duplicate Bitcoin. Ever wonder why man hasn’t gone to the moon since the 60’s? Also for the same reason..Trump Tard
@Marius Samartean , You’re delusional. You have no idea what blockchain technology is. That’s the difference wit Bitcoin. And it’s a privacy coin and can be upgraded.
He was a bit crazy but he is right about Monero. Monero is arguably the most valuable on the market. Anonymous holdings are worth a hefty price for privacy.
the inability of people to comprehend the simple truths he put out is amazing. we really do live in a world of pretentious fools. hence the world we have now, idiocracy. RIP legend
Really??? Legend kills himself after running from the law for years on end and claiming he paid no taxes forever but still drove on the roads that normal tax payers pay for. Legend??? Wow your sights are so low, please rise yourself up.
@Floyd1504 what John is saying is with Monero, the govts truly do not have a say. If you have a community that accepts Monero, than nobody needs to convert it to another currency while it’s completely anonymous.
i believe he is absolutely right. bitcoin was groundbreaking technology when it first came out. but with everything else it gets replaced by something clearly much superior. just like how the first smartphones aren’t used anymore, or the first cars aren’t used anymore, the first cryptocurrency will not be used in the future, but it will be remembered as the start in a whole new wave of technology.
@@Maelee-1122 i understand why bitcoin is so high in value right now, because people believe they can make money from it. but bitcoin is not as good compared to other crypto currencies and that’s just a fact. truly nobody knows what the future value will be for these coins we can only speculate. the one thing we can do however is look at these coins functions and technology behind them and we can see that bitcoin is inferior technology compared to the new coins
You have to take anything MacAfee says seriously. He's extremely intelligent, and he's also enlightened. I still remember the Wired interview from twenty years back...
@@AdiFingold Might have been ten. Christ, I can barely keep track of the years. Crazy interview, and his anecdote about the gun that wouldn't shoot him was a crucial point in my own awareness of the simulation.
John McAfee is blunt and direct like no other. Over the weekend and into Monday morning, more than $200 billion had been wiped off the entire cryptocurrency market.
Another reason as to why Monero is more usable is the network fees. I bought some (non-KYC) sats from a local ATM to my address. I waited for some value to accumulate, after which I decided to use it to buy a soda. First, I tested sending to a dummy address to see if the fee could allow the transaction to take place. I lost about ~20,000 sats. For whatever reason, I them sent those bitcoins back to my original address, and this time I lost, yet again, 20,000 sats. I lost 40,000 satoshis in the end, ⅓ of what I initially owned.
So let's say you wanted to pay a Walmart purchase with a piece of gold... BTC on main layer is for larger sums only - anything else makes sense on a second payments layer like Lightning.
So thats why he suicided. Not because he openly stated he didn't like paying taxes - but he came up with a decentralised exchanges which would make it difficult for governments to tax Crypto profits. all makes sense now. RIP. He was certainly a character.=dont think I will watch any more interviews - but he did make one great speech about the power of cryptocurrencies.
He said BTC was going to a million almost sarcastically. He knew no one would believe him so that’s why he said it. He mentions this in one of his interviews and BTC will probably go to 0. Dan Peña says the same thing

He may be on to something. Bitcoin is no real threat to cbdc but monero is. He really has a great argument for it to go to zero but most likely will drop to below 5,000 when the next financial system rolls out as bitcoin becomes a relic to the latest age of a.i. crypto that will be the true next generation in financial services. Bitcoin is the prelude to the next big thing as aol MySpace and blockbuster was but is no more
You got real products basically all commodities which are organized into finish goods and some investment like gold/ silver, and you got services, if a service stops doing a service it is worthless outside greed/speculation keeping it afloat.
Monero might be precious in the near future because of the privacy thing! but how can he say Bitcoin is goin to 0 ? come one man! its time for a self check!!!! ask yourself john!! Am i sober or a lil hi right now? lol Bitcoin is our everything!! it was invented to fight the feds!! and hes saying its shit! fuck off! loser!!!!!
He keeps saying "find a vendor" but only refers to the Dark Web. 19:15 *Most people want to run LEGAL business so they don't have to hide on a boat or jail.* His concern is privacy and most are not privileged enough to afford what he is referring to (including himself obviously). ALSO, HIS EXPLANATION OF BITCOIN 4:54 should have anyone asking why "hackers" of the Colonial Pipeline (or anything else) would ask for bitcoin as payment.
Look @T T O M O i dont support John... But think about this for a second. To put the concept of crypto in perspective... Consider a black man account being blocked by the feds simply because he had an unusual amount... bitcoin doesn't solve this.. hence there is need for an alternative that literally saves people from the ever reachIng grasp of the powers that be.. it shouldn't be ghost or monero.... its simply an idea
@@kennethmayor3596 There are over 8000 alternatives. I don't know where the black man, the account blocking, or bitcoin scenario comes from but those are really specific and I'm going to assume you mean people want a poor man's monero and ghost? Well rest assured there are lots of coin options with different functions/utilities. Some like VET support supply chain, some like FileCoin support file storage, Waves supports business created incentive spending... Coins are being created to fit needs plain and simple. The ones that hit the niche mark will survive. People that want to shirk paying taxes while driving on roads are part of the problem. People that want to shirk paying child support while screwing and raping but don't want to have any accountability to the problems they create should be tracked and forced to pay. Plain and Simple. Do you want to live on a boat as a billionaire who was hiding in a prison and was murdered or do you want to pay a fair tax % and use the privileges that taxes buy and live large? OR do you want to freeload off the system until everything is broken? Don't get me wrong, taxes are exploited and the system needs to be improved, but not paying anything while living with all the perks is freeloading and selfish. And don't underestimate my last comment about the Pipeline and the hackers! That is some questionable information.
@@TTOMO2x1-1 i believe you missed the point.. it's really not about tax but. Freedom from the current printing system.. having Gold doesn't stop you from filling your taxes. Having Gold means no one knows exactly how much you have Got. Anonymity, Fungibility and Privacy are all important features of anything that claims to be an asset.
@@kennethmayor3596 sure, I know these things, maybe some reading this might not. I'm still not sure what your initial point is. I mentioned a poor man's monero and ghost. But we already have the freedom of 'no one' knowing. But they can find ways to look and nothing is going to stop them, and I don't' see crypto as providing that either. IRS has a $625,000 bounty on breaking monero. McAfee was murdered. McAfee also pointed out that you can't make anything fungible w/o them knowing. "Anonymity, Fungibility and Privacy are all important features of anything that claims to be an asset" There are lots of assets and NONE of them are really anonymous are they? If I don't report it to IRS, IM the one in trouble. And what's the difference between anon and privacy? If you want to make purchases on the dark web, then you can already do what you're saying. When you opt for that you're at risk of everything else that could go wrong. No product shows up. Illegal product, tainted product, re-hacked, added to watch lists... TRADE is the only real option and you have to have enough and be able to get it where it's desired. Not easy. Having a way to "buy" but not be tracked means hiding what you have from people who have the ability to track. What would pay taxes and provide roads, schools, (in some places) health care if people could hide unknown amounts of their money? It seems more like a fantasy than something real or useful. XRP/XLM meet a REAL NEED - get money converted to any currency anywhere quickly and for very low prices. It's a real function that helps the world. How does monero help the world? Kidnappers demand to be paid in Monero. McAfee thwarted his troubles only temporarily and possibly brought attention to him through his avoidance and brazen lack of humility.
Legal and illegal are highly subjective. It was once illegal to help a slave escape. It was once legal to own slaves. When laws are tyrannical its our duty to break them.
John was a legend.... He told us in this interview that DEX'S is the way to go... He dropped many gems 💎. That went over many people heads.... Because people are paying too much attention to his demeanor and the way he's talking. But little do people know. He was a genius. And he knew how told talk in code .
Monero XMR has it's use but also big flaws in use... Nowadays BTC is the most secured (highest Hashrate) and simply most widely accepted Blockchain Coin. Yes, it's just pseudonymous, but it works flawless ever since and will get the STANDARD of what MONEY means - layered. While XMR will stay where it is today and used on it's market...
Solar flares can't wipe out Bitcoin. You'd have to take down every computer on planet earth and that isn't happening . Military grade bunkers way underground keeping the network safe
@weebly Its piece of garbage compared to XMR. Monero is the likely successor of Bitcoin. It makes no sense to have public blockchain to store your value. Everyone can tell what addresses hold how many coins and literally track every transaction that goes in and out of those addresses... If you're BTC whale I'd be very careful because governments likely listen very closely to your addresses. With XMR you would not have this issue.
That was awkward!...Also not so long ago John was raving about bitcoin just like Jeff Berwick is to this day. I'm sure many people are scratching their heads.
Yeah, unfortunately alcohol is not known to have invisibility powers. But from what I gather he made a ton of money he didn't pay taxes for or something along those lines...
@@Lixohh Ok Coomer, imagine being mkultra'd into thinking something thats more tracable than your credit card and not even currency is a cryptocurrency. BSV is the real Bitcoin.

Man... John blows my mind... in just 5 minutes that guy was able to transfer huge amount of (obvious for others maybe) knowledge to me ... impressive. I wish all the crytpo-vloggers were able to do that... and John does not even speak very fast... imagine how much info you can compress into your mind with replay speed 1.5 or 1.75 when people like him speak concentrated knowledge without the crap around it...

where are good places to learn about this? i have seen a couple of these john macafee interviews, and it is making me think i need to learn more about cryptocurrencies and how they all work. i am so lost with it, but i do think i am making a mistake by not knowing it
And follow Oto Gomes on Instagram. He has a telegram. He’s helping people understand crypto. But like I said lay your foundation knowing the evil that is trying to keep us from financial freedom. Oto is a good soul.
I somewhat agree with McAfee, but BTC won’t go to zero. There’s value in the network, value of the cost in mining the current and future supply. However, I feel that the perceived value is still way higher than its intrinsic value.
RIP JOHN MCAFEE THOUGH I HAVE BEEN MAKING LOSSES TRADING MYSELF...I THOUGHT TRADING ON DEMO ACCOUNT IS JUST LIKE TRADING THE REAL MARKET... CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT OR AT LEAST ADVICE ME ON WHAT TO DO?
John no era un hombre perfecto, pero siempre recordaré su mentalidad pionera y su espíritu descentralizado en los primeros días de la criptografía ... descanse en paz con 🐐
@Eliazer011 about $61,000 so what? I just don't think McAfee is correct. Something is only worth anything because there's demand for it. But who really knows what the future holds? Demand for Bitcoin could dwindle to zero possibly but I personally doubt that will happen. Even Michael Saylor was an opponent of BTC at first. Until he'd done several thousand hours of his own research into the topic.
It will take time for Bitcoin to go to a few bucks again. Won't ever be zero. It is not a store of value and does not make transactions cheaper. If someone creates a digital currency that works for commerce it will be adopted.
