Very Cool! Started listening on my phone, then realized 'Hey, I'm at home’.. brought it up on my PC and listened over much better speakers. Nice performance, guys! John's guitar is coming through just a little bit stronger, but because of the positioning, I think John's guitar is being picked up by both mics, and Guthrie's is mainly picking up the one in front of him. No big deal, just a comment. In such an intimate setting, the quality of your voice was strong, John, and I really enjoyed the songs you guys chose to play! I'm sure Doc Watson would approve! Nice Job, guys! 👍🎸✌😎
Killer performance with some great stories too! Thanks John, Guthrie and Paste Studios for a great accompaniment to a warm cup of coffee on a snowy Saturday morning in Baltimore… 🔥❄️☕️
Lovely stuff!! Glad y’all posted it! During the live I Only got to catch the Deep river blues rendition and the fantastic stories from John and Guthrie.
Thank you so much for doing this. We are so looking forward to your Bethesda Visit on Thursday. Thanks for the shout out, good times to come and enjoy together. Can't wait to share the time that will pass far too quickly, Guthrie and John.
Quite a revelation to find out the Americana and roots music origin of John Oates! I only knew him from H&O. Great laid-back feel and chemistry between these two - and some great guitar playing by GT.
