@@rohitr9400 . The voter ID been racist .. like wtf.. majority of black people want voter ID and secure elections... But some white guy from Liverpool knows better? And John knows the difference between a recount of the ballots and the forensic findings on those ballots. Which he never mentioned... It's pandering to dems .. he is better than that >
@@darthjedi5420 "I disagree with him so therefore he must not actually be a nice guy" Also, pandering to the dems? Didn't he call out Biden in that same video for not doing anything, and then had a whole bit where he made fun of him for it? He's also an American citizen, not just some dude from Liverpool anymore.
In the summer of 2013 I got tickets to The Daily Show and was disappointed to learn that I wouldn't be seeing Jon Stewart. That changed as soon as the show started; a very nervous Oliver blew me away and I've been a fan ever since. Thanks for everything, John!
Feels weird to see him responding without the extent of his sarcasm abilities. I can see he is trying to be respectful but that cheeky Oliver pops out here and there
It's very cool. I feel like it really shows in the quality of the show too, it allows John to make jokes/talk about topics that are a bit outside his life experience.
@@cloud_appreciation_society yeah, like when he did that piece on misinformation and how its a big problem in diaspora communities, promoted by one of a member of his staff, korean I think.
3:37 when he said “it’s great to see people that I haven’t seen since last March, been rewatching that part and looking at the faces of everyone behind him when he says that. That’s love right there.
I can't belive how i just keep enjoying watching John Oliver being amazing every fucking week :) Keep up the good work. You guys deserve it very much..
My personal guess is that it was a mix of nervousness (for the delay), feeling rushed (because of the delay) and excitement that made her Freudian slipping a lot. We all made that jokes to friends and family. But personally i see it as John said it so defeated and honest in the first couple of seconds "Wow, this is the distopian reality i was fearing". That was no joke.
Love John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight. Huge huge props! I just have one tiny suggestion. The f*cks can go. Still love him though. I can honestly say learned a lot! ☮️ on 🌍
I was wondering the same thing, but apparently only a small group of the 14 writers were allowed on stage, and they chose... I don't know, the most diverse? the most attractive? Both of which would explain why Dan isn't there... :-)
@@xmlthegreat He was on stage for his 2019 win, you can find all kinds of pictures of it. In 2020 there was no stage at all, but since LWT has this category all sewn up for a couple of years now, here's hoping that he may win even a fourth one and then go onstage again.
Listen wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction(hell), but small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life(heaven), only a few find it.Matthew7:13 Believe in God's son Jesus today, repent of your sin, dont be left behind. Love Y'all
@Alexander Hendry because for some reason, people think a woman who hasn't had sex is better than a woman who has. It's perverse, if you think about it.
Christianity is the most devious of all, at is based in sexism, racism and intolerance. If just had a nicer wrapping than islam. Why are you on this site. anyway? Promoting propaganda?
