Vanderpump Rules superfan John Owen Lowe says it was a perfectly fair request for Katie Maloney to ask Tom Schwartz not to hookup with anyone in their friend group, but Schwartz says she was hooking up with other guys and calls their agreement “tenuous.” John Owen also thinks Schwartz is “conflict avoidant.”

Katie faught so hard because she didn't have the one person that was meant to support her having her back. If she felt supported and safe with Schwartz then she probably wouldn't have lashed out like she did. A peaceful relationship creates peaceful partners. Schwartz is incapable of self reflection just like Sandoval

Katie explained why she thought Tom would never defend her, and the reason was - he loved her, but just didn't like her. It was a sad reason, but one that made sense to me..?

Conflict avoidant. The word is passive aggressiveness. Schwartz resented Katie for being strong. So he weaponized Sandoval to go after his wife and not defend her. He lets Sandoval attack her for his behalf. Schwartz like Raquel is a wolf in sheep's clothing. My conclusion from watching all the WWHL clips tonight. Hes' known about affair since August and still went on double dates with Sandoval, Raquel, and Jo wenberg a female hairstylist? WTF?!

Exactly what I've said about him ... Scandy didn't mind doing it bc he couldn't do it at home . Schwartz would sometimes seethe at Katie. When he broght Scandy to fertility I knew it was over. Could you imagine either of the Toms w kids or Rachel for that matter. Ugh. Shivers.

I feel like this is a fair assertion. He hates conflict, and Katie is confrontational. Katie should have been better about choosing her battles with the people around her, and Schwartz shouldn’t have been so passive. They were two opposite people who could not find a balance.

Honestly, I feel like Tom just doesn’t have respect for Katie. They lost that a long time ago, he poured a beer on her head. It was just a toxic relationship that was convenient and familiar. So of course he isn’t going to stick up for Katie, he doesn’t value her the way he does other people.

Schwartz has been the same guy from the jump. He may have been more anxious because he can’t reveal what is coming up on the show and Andy, for the first time was hard balling him. His family was hit hard by covid. His brother has cancer. He’s been helping his family, financially. Life is hard and very complicated! Everything is not always black and white! So I’m going to give him some grace! In fact, I’m also giving Sandoval and Raquel grace! Guess what? We’re all fallible!
