I’m recently come back to god and was raised on this kirk Franklin hezikhia walker Yolanda Adams etc. I’ve been to prison and in and out of county jail. But now my life has changed so much and I praise God every day. I’m so thankful I can type the names of these songs on now days bc that means they stuck with me and not only that these songs mean so much to me now that I’ve been through trials and tribulations ❤

What people tend to forget is there was a time when the church was against this type of music. They wanted people to keep singing hymns with the organ and mass choirs, but now everyone loves this. I don't think we should be knocking people trying to experiment with other sounds. One day that will be "the good ol' music"

I grew up in the John p kee era, his son Chris and I are the same age so i would always mimic him, and i learn all my riffs and runs from john p kee, lol remembering sunday mornings catching them on Bobby Jones and my mom fussing because i was making her late for church...THE GOOD OLE DAYS
