@uncleez1572 The way how I see it that musicians play to the honor of God, but its not like they can praise Him the way someone else can who's not playing at that time, I say that because that's how it is with me. We play skillfully and have fun with it as well, thats how we praise. As for the people surrounding them, they're also musicians, they learn by seeing. Its how we get better. When the are cheering and stuff, they're doing because of the skill shown and the praise given.
If that's what you get from my post, then so be it. But when God's music becomes more about the music than God, it's no longer God's music. If making sure that as a gospel musician, your focus is more on God than how hard you're crankin means church music has to suck- then we're in trouble.
Man I felt this. The band is very anointed. I don't see how anybody can be sitting in their seats when shouting music like this is going. Does anybody know what city where this convention had taken place.
@CKDRUMMER94, I don't about that. You put the orginal SoundCheck crew together, (C-Bas, Thad, Pudge, Spank, Tye, Paris, Chambers), that's a rough group, Fam. I would be nice to see some good musicianship, but at the same time. I just want to see GOD glorified, and glorifying the act of praise.
All Imma say is SOMEBODY in dat camp is anointed...or God wouldn't have moved like He did. Music is the same outward expression as clapping or shouting. The way I see is you don't nurture your gift, how can u praise Him? He gave it He can take it. Praise while you can.....btw, these cats are SICWIDIT!!!!!!!!!!
diddy is a punk for dropping his band he had some of the best musicians a Artist could even think of putting together.. Diddy knew that the ppl who would come to see his shows would only be musicians who are fans of his musicians. lol thats funny if u think of it tho... ppl pay to see that band.. well diddy was neva a performer anyways but his lost bc finally he had a show that would have interest me for once but ill save my money.. lol >>> The break @ 1:01 was bananas wow..
