Just to clarify : it's not miscommunications on the internet, it's according to what Robert OCHOA from Ernie Ball said on the NAMM 2020 show. He said that the sides of the Limited Edition Purple Nebula Majesty are made of Alder ;-)
"What wood are the sides of the Majesty guitar in Purple Nebula made of?" It will either be alder or okoume wood, depending on the source. For those that are unaware, Okoume is a rare wood blend that is not found naturally. It is synthesized in a hermetically-sealed clean environment. For John to achieve his signature tone, the blend requires even mixtures of woods from the cross of Jesus, the ship of the Viking King Ragnar Lodbrok, and the wooden burial mask of King Tutankhamun. The wood fibers are held together with an epoxy resin containing blood from Ludwig von Beethoven and tears from Dmitri Shostakovich, specifically shed while writing his String Quartet no. 8 in C Minor, OP. 110. This is what allows John to go into "world domination mode", a feat he was once only able to do with his signature Ibanez guitars. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
its obviously the sides of nebula majesty is okoume wood because in the namm2020 said its very special and only 200 pieces produce around the world and also base on your speculation Im convince that the side of the nebula majesty is okoume and also that what john said in this video gudluck to everyone.
I have seen lots of interviews, studio recordings, and bunch of stuffs DT has, and JP always looks that this kind person, that good guy, humble, even knowing that he is one of the greatest guitar players of all time. Even in this interview he really pays attention of what the interviewer is asking.

man I'm a drummer and not too familiar with DT's music, but John seems like a pretty great guy, willing to share his knowledge to everyone, what a legend, I respect him a lot! also I can see the host is fanboying all the time which is understandable lol, great video, so informative! Cheers!
