Just to clarify the origin of this video / channel . A few years ago, I made a mashup of films, video games and instrumental music for myself, to put me to sleep at night. The idea came to me that as long as I was taking the time to make this mix for myself, I should take a little more time and share it with everyone on RU-vid so that as many people as possible could enjoy it. So I continued to make other mixes like this one, which you can find on the channel. The last of this long series is the one on Peter Pan, published on 17/10/2021 on the channel. I am extremely grateful for your feedback, your comments and I am very happy to have been able to share this music, these emotions with you. 0:48 really cried.... I can feel hiccup when he lost Stoick.... bcos I lost my dad 6 years ago.... and I still think of him up to this day.... I was really close to my dad 2:57 to 3:44 Hiccup staring at the ship in fire drifting off to sea as the glowing light which is Stoick's soul reflecting Hiccup as the new chief during the funeral... "I was so afraid of becoming my dad. Mostly because I thought I never could. How do you become someone that great, that brave, that selfless? I guess you could only try.", Hiccup as he looks down in despair, but then looks back up with determination and bravery, something that Stoick has is now in Hiccup. "A chief protects his own. We're going back.", says Hiccup. Tuffnut and Ruffnut telling him that there are no dragons. "Not *all* of them." Really no words to describe this part during Stoick's ship scene. The way hiccup was unsure of what to do as he's lost his father and dragon, but then suddenly becoming determined to get the dragons back from Drago.... just amazing....😍😍😍 love it, John

The heart of a chief and the soul of a dragon

I cried Yeah I'm not afraid to admit it *sobs in the corner*

I just realized that parts of this are a much more haunting and mournful version of the melody from “For the Dancing and the Dreaming”. Stoick and Valka’s first dance together in what, 20 years? And their last before his funeral. Think of how that dance is going to stick with Valka, who had probably resigned herself to leaving Stoick behind for the rest of her life, before she heard of a different life she could maybe have with dragons AND her family from her son she left as a babe, before the husband she abandoned died. So much time was lost between them, and Hiccup never saw his parents together and happy for more than a few minutes. Can’t believe it took me this long.

May Stoick rest in peace. I've rewatched this movie many times and it never ceases to amaze me.

The horn part at 1:39 will never cease to give me chills.

I'm listening to this today because my grandfather passed away today 😥 😭so I'm listening to this cause I saw him as my chieftain a teacher a friend Rest In Peace papa you're free to fly in the heavens above

i tried to explain to a friend why the third movie made me cry so much and it’s just so hard to explain? i grew up with the franchise and seeing it end.. its amazing and sad and brilliant because i’ve been able to grow up with my favorite characters.

The weight and gravitas of the score, the emotion expressed by the choir and the instruments really makes it one of, if not the best score in the HTTYD franchise, along with Romantic Flight and Test Drive

I went and listened to the original soundtrack...and I love your remastered work...I love the bass hitting..the full sound...this score overall is so so moving...beautiful movement

A whole tribute video ran through my head as I watched this... this is what I imagined It starts out with the moment before Hiccup pets Toothless for the first time, he turns his head away from Toothless. 0:12 The scene where Hiccup finds Toothless in the woods. Hiccup: "Why couldn't I have killed that dragon when I found him in the woods?" (The scene where he raises the knife) Astrid "The rest of us would've done it. So why didn't you?" (The scene where he decides not to kill Toothless) Hiccup : "He looked as scared as I was..." (The scene where the camera passes by Toothless's wing, revealing his open eyes.) "I looked at him... and I saw myself" (The scene where Toothless looks at Hiccup's hand, and decides to trust him, letting Hiccup pet him.) 0:50 the scene where Toothless flies into the fire, to save Hiccup. I can't finish this now, I have a math test to study for.

two years ago the final movie came out, i knew it was coming but i was never ready for httyd to end, i literally grew up with these movies and series’. httyd was the first movie i’ve ever watched, and even though it’s most likely impossible, i do hope that there will be more.
