All truth sooner or later becomes platitude. All eyes eventually go blind. All ears become deaf. All hearts grow cold. And all minds eventually become dull. Such is the fate of humanity. Shame is our inheritance.
Both previous statements are only true if one believes them to be with that perspective, I agree with Mill on most of his points, but on statements where he is wrong in accordance to his own authoritative definition of fact; I disagree. Mill shoots himself in the head by not factoring in the complexity of language and history though he recognizes the totality of human experience. I know on what authority I have to know, how to know, & that I do know but nothing more.
