Love listening to Sir John but I can't find anything about Bernie Cornfield. If I remember correctly Sir John had something to do with Bernie Cornfield's fund.
Charlie Rose believes in a god not just the Most high God. Atheist play the game and Mr. John Templeton desearved more respect than changing the subject. Its about the interviewee and Charlie should just listen to this genuis.
This Charlie Rose guy is such an annoying interviewer, who let him on television...? Templeton gets obviously annoyed, and I myself would like to take his pointing finger and stick it back into his own face. The more I watch this, the more painful it gets, haha :-D
It occurred to me as a bit of complicated to get. So I’m not sure if my guess would be correct, but I’ll try. I think he oppose his theory to the idea that God is some man on the cloud. I guess his theory about God is that He exists everywhere: in stone, water, stars, galaxies- everywhere. That it’s the only reality we’re living in. To my understanding he means the nature itself as God.
26 minutes of wasted opportunities to understand what this man truly Believed/thinks..... God is everything: "the created purposeful only reality".... the next question after he says that, Charlie, is "how did you get to that view, Mr Templeton?".... Then shut your mouth and listen.....

As much as I like Templeton, I cannot as a Christian understand why he would equate false religions with God. This many ways to Heaven, are false teachings. Like the movie Highlander says "there can be only one".
