Oh dude yeah ever since season 15 of rvb in my opinion this is better and it’s not over serious like rise of the Spartans I’ve been watching hbb since like 2020
Yeah I was originally going to give it to him then I decided not too cause I only had it on one account. Then I ended up body acting everything myself so I could do it.
You guys both rock and I appreciate the content you both put out it truly is amazing and properly captures the perfect image of halo machinima with that being said last man standing is also really really good I still wonder everytime I rewatch what the grand prize is
Holy shit the choreography in the sword duel was sick good job. I would love more stories like these. It would be cool if more of these stories connected in the end
The animation was easily better than another certain popular machinima series last ending. And the writing was pretty funny, it’s nice to see John actually has a decent family unlike everyone else.
@@ScribblyProductions john's family is incredibly interesting, i wonder if john's throwaway line about being "substantially older than 23" would mean their family tend to live in a single house for generations, or if it's just nothing to think too hard about
man this was a great episode it has inspired me to start making machinimas again but this time on my new pc laptop that I got a few weeks ago should be a breeze to edit and record the footage I need just need to decide what kinda setting and story beats I wanna do perhaps I can revive that old halo reach machinima series of mine that I never ended up making
This has been my rvb replacement for 7 ish years now i hope with the death of rvb you guys get the chance to get the vews you used to or hopefully more
It may not seem like it lol but my channel has actually grown! My videos have been steadily improving, honestly I just need to upload more and we're working on it! Thanks for the praise, we won't disappoint! Unlike RvB I'm AIMING for like 100 Episodes of HBB but the second we run out of ideas we're done. That said I think we've been excited for Season 3 for years so I don't plan on running out anytime soon.
This was a treat to watch. Editing was tight, jokes were funny, animation was sick The singular critique that I would give is that I would've preferred a fade to black, or let the camera linger a bit longer on the face, right before the patreon plug basically to give it a commercial break kind of feel I'm not sure exactly why, but the plug did feel very abrupt and a little disorienting, even though it happened where it would be placed in a TV show My best guess is that, despite being well edited with sfx and everything, it was in the style of a youtube video, where the rest of the video isn't (if that makes sense) Severe nitpicking aside, literally everything else was great. I could not tell you how to change or improve it in any way because it is ALL of *very high quality*. Just to name a few of my favorite things: Frank's country accent, set design of interview chamber, any of the jokes involving John's father, out-of-combat animation (especially the cardboard cutout), the absurdity of the narrative frame (I'm biased ofc), the consistency of characters and the stupidity of their priorities It also reminds me a bit of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia in its best seasons And I really enjoy how you still find creative ways to call back to the FPS online multiplayer experience (like turning non-diegetic music into a joke about hearing said music through another guy's mic)
Thanks for the critique I'll make sure those plugs are more seamless. I don't like them either but I need money so I gotta do what I gotta do. And I am also an always sunny fan like Ethan. We should embrace that even more lol. Thanks for the great comment!
@@ScribblyProductions I could honestly tell that you hated it as you were doing it I don't think there's anything wrong with plugging, especially for how much effort went into this, I just think that if it has to be done, why not have some fun with it?
Edit: are any of the original masters from R vs B involved in this is any way at all ?? This is the first time ive come across this, which is crazy, how has this not been pushed by the almighty algorithm more...YT has dropped the ball on this one big time.
@ScribblyProductions it sounds like you have some issues with the guys from RvB I hope I ain't touched any nerves...I will definitely pass this round to my mates it is really good, keep up the great work.
Oh no lol I don't really I was just tryna be funny. They're cool. Not our specific inspirations but it is honestly an honor to be compared to something so iconic so don't worry about it.
As someone who grew up in the Golden age of Halo and grinded for hyabusa armor it's so much better looking and everything than that Tenrai? I don't know the name of the samurai armor in halo infinite as I don't play it anymore but I love seeing old mesh with new makes Halo seem kinda close to being halo and not a weird Retexture
I grew up with Halo Machinima so I really try to keep the cool spirit of those which is also inspired by classic halo so I try to keep that spirit alive! The armor is called Yoroi and I agree nothing has reached the hype of hayabusa.
