@Raptorel I mean they do quick twitch workouts, or light weight stuff. Most NBA players try to get low weight high rep stuff because it prepares their body for the pounding an 82 game season puts on you.
@Raptorel all those workouts are what I like to call real workouts lol, but its just that all those workouts build a heavier muscle than the workouts most nba players do, they do alot of jumping, they try to stay lean.
@goinham25 Build a heavier muscle? A "heavier" muscle (although I don't know what you mean by that) is built through nutrition. A lot of calories and a lot of protein. If you train like a bodybuilder you won't necessarily look like one unless you compound your training with a bodybuilder's nutrition. But these guys are athletes and they should TRAIN like athletes. Compound movements, heavy weights and low rep ranges. Sure, during the inseason it's another story but still.
nah you get better at basketball by playing basketball, gym helps some but seriously lebron didn't start working out until he got into the leaque and he didn't get his build from lifting weights. Some players are ripped(Corey maggette) but that doesnt mean they are good
I swear NBA guys do the weirdest so called workouts I have ever seen. No squats, no lunges, no weighed planks, no overhead pressing, no pullups, no proper bench pressing, no you-name-it.
