Roger Johnson I so respect your thought. I believe our relationship with God is personal so I won’t seek a debate; however, I will say- yes God is love and God never turned his back on us, we (man) turned our back on God. This has been so since the very beginning hence sending Jesus to die for all the sins of man for who so ever shall believe upon him- and ask, and through Jesus our access to God. Yes God is a loving God, precious, true and through him- our fear is relieved ( it’s pretty relieving to know I have a place waiting on me in heaven verses a fiery pit this temporary earth will be one day). However, God himself is to be respected and just like any good father on earth- to fear wrath if we think we can do whatever “ we” want verses what is pleasing to Gods will!
Roger Johnson thank you. I really mean it. Much love and prayer. However, my journey has been long and way to complex to text out, but unlike you may have assumed - I’m am not at all regurgitating what I was taught- quite the contrary actually. My relationship with God has been self realized after many many attempts to interpret my way and or let my actions be driven by emotion My experience has been profound- and my only blueprint is the word of God, the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I’m not judging you, much respect for your profound thought- much more than a lot of people out there. But I have personally experienced all I need to know - I would never sacrifice the peace and love I feel. Much love back
Science has a long history of making the impossible possible. Our species will one day have the answers we seek. Just look at how far we have come over the course of just a few hundred years. Imagine where we will be in another few hundred. It's sad that you and I will not be around to see it. I believe in creation but I also believe in science.
If you believe in God that the answer is that he made all of this this way. maybe at the time the Bible was written humans didn't know all of this shit they didn't even know what out of space was because God didn't tell people about all of it doesn't mean it wasn't real We genuinely were not meant to know that yet Im not a believer but thats should be your conclusion Like its not your job to ask scientists questions about god but see how science and god would have to go hand in hand All literacy is up for interpretation and of you think about it you could make itq make sense, thats why you see all these Christians with differing opinions on what go wants to to be like
