@@dankim7488 I picked up my dog as a stray when he was just a pup, and I was told he was boxer/german shepherd. He's now 8 years old. I've worked with GSs before, and my dog is so different with his intense energy and constant need for stimulation that I suspect he was mischaracterized and is likely boxer/Belgian. The confusion would be understandable. Belgians are truly fascinating creatures. They require a LOT of one's time and a job or a task or a puzzle. Dog owners are often neglectful, but never get a Belgian if you're not prepared to rearrange your life. I made the mistake years ago trying to get my dog and myself some standard "training," since the breed is unique with a prey instinct so tough, you have to guide the instinct not try to suppress it. Of course, you would already know this... Cheers
IDK why seeing Halle Berry in an action film kicking ass makes me think the industry underused her skills and ability as a badass actress in her younger days. Anyhoo, loved her in JW3
@@jcare1138 She was supposed to have a Jynx spinoff movie after her bond movie, but the studio cancelled it after one of the charlies angels sequels didn't do well. "female led action movies don't sell" was the thought. Idiots
I like how John says "Don't" after he starts a 4 movie long war over his dog being killed lol, on reflection he's saying "Don't kill them" not "Don't get us into a mess", which is pretty cool. Also obligatory "Now everyone who's alive has tinnitus for life", that John Wick Special is a Glock 34 that shoots .45 GAP
I have Protection Trained Doberman's and Pitbulls thanks To Bulletproof Pitbulls Training. My Dogs are Family. I am no John Wick or Halle Berry but, I respect this.
This is easily one of the most badass fight scenes in cinema history. A masterpiece. Seriously, how could it have been any better? (and this wasn’t even the full scene!)
My Norwich terrier once jumped up on my back fence and tore huge pieces out of a lad's jeans who was breaking in. She thought she was a Belgian!!! She got a nice steak for supper that night. Well done, Molly. She lived 20 years.
I just got a Belgian Malinois (the same breed as Halle Berry’s dogs in this scene) 2 weeks ago. My pup is 10 weeks as of today, and he’s the sweetest little thing EVER! But the strength of that bite, the way these dogs tug once they have something in their jaws, the speed, and especially the intelligence…I can absolutely vouch for the fact that these dogs are all of what you’re seeing and more. Mine is in training to be my PTSD service dog so I’ll never train him to be as badass as all this, but the versatility of this breed is astounding!
As I’m sure you’ve found out they can be super stubborn. I was a k9 handler when I was a contractor. During training I sent my Belgian malinois after our “suspect” both went out of my sight. Trotted over to find them. Saw blood thought oh shit Brenda bit off the sleeve bolted to find both dog and person. Found “suspect” begging to have the dog called off with fear in his eyes and voice. And my dog with a stick through her body going batshit crazy on the bite sleeve. She never gives up. She was a good dog
The most loyal dog breed in my opinion. They will literally die trying to protect you and the natural instincts are unbelievable. No joke of a breed super badass so tough and dangerous but also sweet and loving unconditionally they’re amazing and smart as a dog can be.
Attack dogs are trained to keep pulling until they are told to let go or they have a lock jaw. That's why they use Malionois for these scenes, they don't bite as hard as and are WAY less risky than a German Shepherd or Rotti or even a Dobbi
@@kytten4506 There is no such thing as 'lock jaw' in dogs unless they're ill in some way. Also they're using Belgian Malinois because they're generaly healthier and more agile... the difference in biteforce wouldn't matter much either because they can both do a lot of damage.
@@anubispt6002 John Wick even help SpongeBob on the lost of Gary and make sure that SpongeBob doesn’t make the same mistake and facing the consequences too even if he has to deal with Poseidon to get Gary back
Most actors would not do all this physical choreography. This stuff is hard, like a ballet of martial arts. It’s about getting every detail right in uninterrupted sequence. She absolutely deserves the praise.
The spin-offs we need from this world: John Wick prequel that shows his early career and the big job he had to do to get out Sofia centered film about her origin and her daughter.
I remember seeing this at the theater and this scene had so much gunfire and death that I think my brain shut off and I was just blankly staring at the screen lol
Everyone in this movie wants their cake and eat it too. They want the benefits of a marker but don't want the consequences when they're called to return the favor. I'm sure Sofia came to John because he was her friend and happens to be an experienced killer. But now she turns salty when her "friend" is in deep shit and needs her help. Same with Santino. As much as I dislike him, he had every right to have John fulfill his oath with the marker. It was only his short-sightedness of trying to stab him in the back after the job was done, that was his grave mistake. But like John tells Sofia, "CONSEQUENCES". That's the true moral of the entire movie.
@Anonymous-cc5pn Exactly! I dislike Sofia’s animosity with John when he asks for her help. She has no right to be salty and bitter. She knew what she was getting into.
Out cold fight scene!!! Precise synchronized fighting! I hope Halle and her dogs are in JW4! The best part is both Halle and Keanu did their own fight scenes! JW4-Team Neo, Morpheus, and Catwoman with Mighty Dog and Underdog on Deck and ready for ACTION! ✊🏾😂😉
Nah thats why people get tired of shit cuz then they make it a cheesy tv series that eventually they get rid of the main character and burn the whole thing, this should be it . So it can be remembered
LOCKDOWN 007 I appreciate what you’re saying but Star Trek has had 9 series, at least a dozen movies, Dozens of paper back books and fan made videos. Star Wars has done a bunch of movies and they have a series or two. Jason Bourne, Universal Soldier, Rambo, Rocky, if there’s a way to entertain people with quality entertainment I think Hollywood should put it on the air. I’m sick of 500 channels of reality programming where doctors pop zits or guys yell at people who own restaurants and hotels. Zit poppers or a John Wick series? I vote for John Wick!
While you can expect halley berry and Keanu reeves to be doing a lot of stunts. Dogs in the scene is like salt in food. Especially the last scene when it races of the lader to get a man down from the top. It is unimaginable to picture this scene without dogs, it would be ordinary. ❤❤❤❤ love the scene.
They gave Halle Berry some major screen time on this action scene and the dogs had a great Tag Team action sequence. This might be the best action scene in the John wick saga. Hope they top it with a better one in part 4
The dog's kicked butt and then some. I love the one that climbed the wall and took care of that guy up there. That was great. No doubt, now we'll see attack dogs in other movies. Hollywood is a bunch of copycats.
There’s the Prometheus school of running away from things. Now there’s the John Wick school of running into bullets. Seriously, these movies would’ve ended a lot sooner if any of the baddies used cover and fire and move tactics.
I hate to say that I truly disliked Halle Berry as Storm and Catwoman, but I believe all that training she did for those movies led her to this part, which she performed perfectly.
This scene is so cool with the dogs I have a German Shepard who we are training and she so smart eventually we are going to start her protective training
Out of my 3 dogs Harley, William and Roxy, Roxy is the alpha. She's a deer head chihuahua, Harley is the Cane Corso and William is the Irish Wolf Hound. She bullies her brothers.
I figured out that the Wick movies are highly stylized, its choreography. Much like what the Bond and Mission Impossible movies has become. After watching "The Raid" One and Two and also "The Night Comes For Us". The scenes are brutal. These guys are actually trying to do damage not dancing. Lots of good Korean action and gangster movies also. Better stories and stunts than Wick.
