Fishburne looked like he was having the time of his life here. Working with one of his favorite co-stars, getting to play an over-the-top character, and maintaining his cool, badass demeanor.

What makes you guys so great is that you’ve perfectly captured the essence of what it was like back in the day to watch an awesome movie with a buddy in the theaters and that first few moments after the movie when you’re walking out and you’re both going back and forth with the “I liked it when…”. It’s fun to relive that rush through y’all.

Last time I was at a hotel in Boston, I remember leaving the ad on for what movies they were featuring on their on-demand service and JW3 was one of them. And during the ad for that movie, the narration dude (or whatever you call the guy who sounds like the one from Honest Trailers) says, "The best.. Wick... yet!" Since the ads ran on a loop, it would play again every 10 minutes or so: "the best... Wick... yet!" After hearing that about 6-7 times in a row, I had to start recording it with my camera 'cause it was just so funny. "The best Wick yet." What a horrible and yet hilarious tag line.

John Wick can sense every person around him. But he can't see cars. Always gets hit.

The scene with all the mirrors was inspired by Enter the Dragon. And the end of the third one was inspired by Game of Death because it shows him moving up the levels of a building working his way to the boss.

Keanu is like the Whedonverse. He reuses actors and staff who have worked with him on other movies. Lawrence was in this movie. The doc that stitched him up last movie, is the actor who played the key maker. The guy who threw him over the railing at the night club was one of the Agents from the second movie. And the Russian brother that took his car was in the movie Constantine with Keanu. Btw....I lovingly call Keanu my Neo Wick.

John Wick is like a study in how to make an action movie - I'd say there's never been an action movie that pushed the envelope as much as this series. I see you took notice of him not hesitating in the end, I view it as a sign of his contempt for his enemy for trespassing in his life. If he had killed his dog in the beginning it would have taken away the suspence, since we all know what he'd do then, so this way when he's forced to transgress the rules of the sanctuary is just much more exciting. I'd recommend "Nobody" by the same writer I believe, it's .... worth it! 👍

Yeah, when I saw Laurence Fishborne I, too, became giddy and laughed out loud in the theater.

Only movie I've ever seen that accurately depicts how difficult it is to keep a shotgun loaded during the stress of close quarters combat. Love the fact that after he fires his first full magazine, the entire scene turns into him desperately trying to get more shells into the shotgun while being attacked from every direction.

You guys need to check out The Equalizer I & II w/ Denzell Washington... So Good!

The ending still gives me chills. John running straight into (and away from) a world that will now try to kill him and we don’t know who will be with or against him. I love it ❤️

My favorite scene was with the sommelier. Bringing class to the murder business.

I believe that the car was also a gift from his wife... that's why the card was in there. She said in the card with the puppy that he needed something else to love.. that the car didn't count. They literally took everything he had of her. I dont blame him at all for his vengeance. Also.. when he came down the stairs at the bar at the end.. he fully intended to shoot Santonio... that's why they zoomed in on his hand on the gun.. he was NOT using proper trigger safety.. his finger was already on the trigger. As a trained assassin, he wouldn't do that unless he was committed to the kill. Loved watching you two watch this.

That's one thing I love that action movies are doing now with characters it fits with. They make them out to be like horror slasher villains. It only works with certain characters.. Batman (Man literally is The Night), Spawn would be too Perfect for that!!.. The Punisher.. Daredevil... There are just certain characters that would be so perfect for. I just love it! When they just emerge from the shadows, or even jump scare you. They did that here and there with JW. Him being The Boogeyman.. it fits! Love it!

If I had friends to be with while watching John Wick marathon, that would be you guys. Your reactions are funny and natural. Some reactors of this particular movie are asking too many questions on why is this and why is that. I mean, their taking the movie so seriously that they didn't even realize that it's just a movie so not all scenes are realistic and for entertainment purpose only.

The thing with being an assassin is that you expect to die Octokrool. It's the same with being in the military and going to war, you expect to die for your country. Assassin die for their work.

Watch The Raid movies next (with original language and subtitles). Those movies are very similar to the John Wick movies but miles better in writing, action, character development, suspense, cinematography etc. and also came before the John Wick movies.

Just found you guys night before last and have been binge watching, at least the movies I love and know. Anyway, I would like to mention that, cars and John Wick don't seem to get along, I mean he is always getting hit by cars, it's a wonder that he isn't dead yet, but then again he does auto-bot running all of the time, no wonder he can get away with what he does. Love that you guys got to see the pencil part and can't wait until part 3, also almost wanted to cry and may have even teared up a bit when I was Laurence Fishburne. Regardless, already a huge fan and reaction videos are my favorite videos on youtube and you guys have already shot up pretty high on my list of favorite reactors and it's only been two days. Turned on the bell and will be looking forward to more movies. Can I make a suggestion on a movie that I have been asking so many other reactors to react to and not one has yet. The movie is Alive from 1993 based on a true story about a Uruguayan amateur rugby team whose plane crashed in the Andes mountains in 1972 and how they weren't found for over two months. One of the best stories of survival I have ever heard, even though it was pretty graphic, as well.
