Sort of, but at the same time his arrogance got him into this situation, and got his men killed for no reason. Even up until she says "you had your chance", he still thought he had a way out, and couldn't read the writing on the wall. It's cool that they wrote him as such a (relatively) complex character- badass and powerful, but with a serious blind spot.

@@ardenaudreyarji considering how the assasin's world is described in general on the series, you can see that usually the important people (like winston, santino, his sister, julius) in charge of something or management aren't usually fighters... i think sofia is the only exception shown so far, on top of that, if you see the adjudicator character, she looks all bossy, bitchy, thinking she's on top of the world, etc, which is usually how non-fighter characters behave. My personal opinion based on what i've just told you is that she isn't, but truth be told, there's still a small chance she could be a decent fighter.

This scene also perfectly justifies Bowery King's decision to give John a gun in the first place. His crew were killed so easily, he would not be able to take on the High Table alone.

I find it quite amazing how the Bowery King and his group seemed to be this all-knowing and unstoppable group in John Wick 2. They were quite simply invisible and unstoppable and yet Zero and his small group of men are basically able to go in and cut through them like a hot knife through butter.

I love how they built up the threat levels of Zero and his assassins, showing them easily besting other skilled fighters and even having the upper hand on John himself several times. Sure, he won in the end, but it was still a good fight they gave him and this made them feel like than just dudes with swords than John easily cuts down like everybody else.

Plus thise guns are locked up there so they'd most likely have to use a key to obtain said guns and ammunition, distribute them while the zero group are hacking and slashing the others quickly as well as have almost no clue that they've infiltrated the building. (Unless there are cameras or an alarm picked them up, idk dont remember).

Then put a 7 million dollar bounty on John's head and had the balls to taunt a very angry John Wick about how he couldn't be touched.....WTF do you think did us all a favor and blow the greasy little shit's head off? Adjudicator: He broke the rules. The Bowery King: Seems to me, Santino D'Antonio broke the rules first when he ordered a member of the High Table, his own sister mind you, killed so he could take her place. Having the appearance of Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) was the highlight of John Wick : Chapter 3 - Parabellum like they are paying homage to Keanu Reeves early days as Neo in the Matrix by bringing Fishburne aboard on board. One of the best action movies which is a must watch in my opinion.

Some of these assassins have been trained since early childhood in private or unorthodox self defense schools. They've been doing this stuff for years. John Wick was always trained to be an elite killer from birth it seems, it was in his early adulthood he joined the U.S Marines as special operations.
