How are you Guys... this one is GOLD, this here is MAESTRO JOHN WILLIAMS, playing piano during the Re recording of PETER GUN, a song he recorded originally on piano for incredible composer HENRY MANCINI.
This was a recording we did a Eastwood scoring stages the band was CRAZY
Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Arturo Sandoval, Vinnie Colaiuta Luis conte, Produced by GREG Field.. producing...

Just incredible! He's still on top of the game even at the age of 91 years old. To put that into perspective, the man was a teenager during World War II!

I just saw Mr Williams conduct this past August. Ive never seen John Williams move around so much. It was amazing to see John having so much fun conducting Duel of The Fates, and everything else. I honestly think how he conducted entire half show at 91, he's still just an 80 something year old.

I actually got to see Maestro John Williams 2xs in person at Tanglewwod. 1st time was at his 90th birthday celebration, and 2nd was this years Film Night. On his 90th, I actually got to meet and thank Mr. Williams in person. He is super humble and very friendly.

@carlitosdelpuerto yes he is. When you hear people say how humble he is. They aren't making it up. He truly is like a grandfather you never knew you had. That is just how I felt meeting him and talking to for about 30 seconds. You can tell he loves the music and being able to celebrate it with fans. Btw the only reason I was able to meet Mr. Williams is because he was sitting with us fans in the Shed area at Tanglewood. That just tells you how much he loves the fans he actually sat among hundreds of fans.

Thank you for sharing this. I am studying some of his scores, and the orchestration is incredible. John Williams is well-beyond music, he, similar to Yo Yo-Ma, seem to be so philosophical, and on a whole other level of thought, that just one minute with them could change the trajectory of one's life. Carlito, sir, were you able to say hi, to Mr. Williams?

@@carlitosdelpuerto, I think we are slowly going away from orchestral scores with strong thematic melodies. I hope Hollywood goes back to strong, melodic theming in the future.

I would imagine he does. I reckon he's probably been practicing consistently for about 80 years at least. The dude is probably one of the greatest pianists alive, even if he doesn't show it .
