I have to say, this is the best instructional video I have ever seen. Highlighting the tabs, and narrating the strings and frets while playing, is very helpful. I am learning this classic. Thanks!
Love what you do man! Your tutorials make what from the outset looks impossible become attainable. Never thought I would be attempting this classic but here I am thanks to you. Big thumbs up!
Huge grin watching and listening to this one Dave! I really enjoy all your lessons of current music but I’m alway thrilled to see you teaching and passing on these great and super fun-to-play older songs, you rock my friend. Very fine work! Buddy
Thanks alot for this, I've watched countless tutorials for guitar and I absolutely love these better than pretty much all of them. Your teaching style is really great
Some weird kid played this at my school dance once in 1955, im pretty sure his name was Calvin Klein, but i never saw him again. He also played some odd music after, which i thought was pretty weird, but now my kids love it.
When I play this I play it one fret down from how your doing it , plus I am tuned a full or half step down depending on what Guitar I am using . I know thats not how its done on the album but sounds better played that way and you get more of a ring .
This is brilliant. Ive struggled playing this for so long...still struggling but starting to understand it a bit better now. My issue is the timing...thats what i need to practice. I can hit the notes but not getting the timing right. Great tutorial :-)
@@GuitarZero2Hero just bought it today. I think it's a great practice tool and there's some great sounds that come ready to go. There's tons more options with Tone Studio. The RU-vid integration is a powerful learning tool which is the main reason I bought it. I just need to figure out a way to integrate it with my Boss Katana other than using the Aux jack.
This is an AWESOME lesson. Do you have the backing track available (or for sale)? I can't find a good backing track (without guitar) anyplace and I would like to have the one you did if its available. THANKS!!!
this is the best tutorial ever..but I have a technical question. at 17:07 you say to double stop 4x but at 21:59 you play only 3 as i see and hear it. am i incorrect? this is so awesome i want to play it as in your up to speed intro. thanks for all your lessons!!
@@andreamikha1294 Ibanez, Epiphone(affordable) , fender (Depends on how you get it but they are good afforable ones as well as expensive ones), gibson (overall good expensive brand)
@@andreamikha1294 You can get a decent guitar around $250-$400 if you looking for new on a budget budget but used guitars are also a good choice. Just make sure that the brand is from a reputable company
Hi, I'm an Italian electric guitar enthusiast and a few months ago I I bought a 2003 made in USA Fender Stratocaster and I would like to ask you how I can get that bending sound of the Johnny B. Goode song, I read on the internet that you need a guitar withbridge humbucker, what model do you recommend? I have a 25 watt Fender amplifier, how should the various : Gain - Treble - Middle be adjusted. Thanks for your answer. Carlo Rapaccini
