Wow,Dancehall has really broadened out. Other islands have picked up di genre and have fi dem own ah style to it. Mi nah lie it can gwaan still but they need more Jamaican dancehall artists endorsements,di wull ah we Caribbean fi gi each other strength ah di only way fi bill we up. One link

nah trust me they dont need no jamaican artists endorsements. trinidad dancehall is played regionally without ja artists help. maybe they need the endorsements to get play in JA. but seeing how most jamaicans on here act I doubt trinibad artists will get accepted, even if they "sound" exactly like other JA artists.

Dancehall gave birth to other genre and also have worldwide influence. Reggaeton came from dancehall Dem bow and some other riddim were taken from dancehall and they call it reggaeton by just changing Couple things on the riddim. "Trinibad" is basically dancehall in Trinidad the youths there call it Trinidad because of violent music they doing. Most of riddim they are using in Trinidad is trap dancehall beats. Up to this day I don't hear a Trini artist on a original dancehall beat. When Jamaicans decide to do soca we are going to call it SOCAHALL😆😆😆😆

I can tell u dont follow music. There are 2 styles of trinidad dancehall "zess" and "trinibad". Most "zess" dancehall uses original dancehall beats, example "trinidad ghost - zesser" samples "potential kidd - jump pon mi cocky". Where "triniBAD" is a more trap style of dancehall. Jamaicans have done soca before, I guess u never heard of "Linky First".

@@James-sz2hr most zess dancehall beats may sample the original dancehall beats but they are sped up and they might incoprate tassa drums etc from soca. Trinibad beats as you say is more dancehall beats leaning more on the melodic side and the kick and the snares usually fall different to traditional trap dancehall beats . A lot of the new dancehall beats used beats like what kraff and valiant and some skillibeng lean more trinibad.

When u grow up America u expose to a lot of accents and how u talk accent is mostly affected how u and ur peers talk and interact so u adapt to the crowd around u n it’s doesn’t mean u trying from youth in America u adapt u make fun of some n u pick up some accents.
