Johnny Bucket Jr Part 2: The Installation 

Hello Jeff. Thank you for doing this video. This entire series should prove very useful for me since i plan to purchase the Johnny Bucket very soon. I appreciate your efforts to produce this tutorial and it should a nice guide for me to follow. I have a John Deere X580.

15:12 Hi Jeff, I put one of these on my X320 last year, around the same time you posted this video. I mounted the two switches side-by-side below the throttle/choke levers. You're right about using lift & curl at the same time. I basically hold the lift switch with the side of my middle finger, and use my thumb/forefinger to nudge the curl as needed. Since you can't control the speed (the actuators are either full on or full off), I don't think the joystick control would have made it any smoother, even if it let you control both at the same time.

Good video with some good narration. I've had the JB for almost 20 years but recently changed mower brands to the JD X590. Taking off the deck for routine maintenance can be a bugger with some clearance issues with the rear brackets. I'm wondering if the bucket could be used to lift the tractor from just that little bit of clearance to make it easier. Just a thought.

Great Video I've been looking for a while for an install video. First I've found. I'm building my own version and was wondering if you can help me out with a few measurements. I was wondering what the height of the front bracket is, the distance from the top of the front bracket to the ground and the distance between the ground and the bottom of the side brackets. Thanks

Hi Jeff, I have a X580 on order and now also have a johnny bucket and Johnny hitch for the back on order. Just wondering if you figured out a way to get the hood to open all the way? Thank you so much for these videos they are very helpful.
