We go here every time FOR THE BREAD. The food is decent/good, but nothing to write home about to me. I had lasagne once and it was ok, the Carbonara had so much bacon it was hard to eat. I would order again with less bacon. The bowtie pasta in alfredo was good. Again, the atmosphere, location, and wonderful bread service make this a "must do" for us and it is fairly affordable. Portions are large, so for lunch you can go and split a meal and come out without paying an arm and a leg.
You two should put your reviews together in a couple of videos ie; 1. Scenery 2. Entertainment 3. Restaurants And sell them to local establishments for them to sell guests for present and future visits. $$$🤑🤑🤑
Lol Will you never had Tiramasu mmm I was brought up around Italians on Long Island, NY..TIRAMASU spongy cake with coffee, chocolate and marscapone(Italian cheese cake). We have a Greek restaurant near by I love their homemade pastries and their Tiramasu. Don't care for Krogers brand. But always loved authentic Italian food
Again, I like local vs. chains when given a choice, but the food looked good. Thank you for being our "guinea pigs", and helping us choose good restaurants to try when in the area. It's a bummer to try a restaurant while on vacation, then feeling like you just threw your money away.
@@OffroadCpl I have seen them in several states. They must be in at least 8 states. I'm not criticizing the restaurant. I just try to eat local in any city or town I visit.
Johnny's Combo looks good and Chicken Parm. Dawn, I don't like Iceberg but that Wedge would be good with Romaine, Italian blend. Glad you two had a nice meal
This place looks great Will and Dawn!! I have missed you all so much! Our family has been impacted by COVID and we have been in isolation! Stay safe and God bless!
Italian is my favorite food, everything looked really delicious. The wedge salad was way to big for an appetizer. That's the first time I've seen a restaurant give you a whole loaf of bread. You guys are awesome as always.
This is my FAVORITE ITALIAN REASTURANT. I always get the Chicken bow tie festival pasta. I have to go every year on my birthday. I put a little of the balsamic vinegar in my olive oil and seasoning.
@Mr. Noah Strickland i know right! I would make sure I knew how to say the name of the place I was doing a food review of before I posted it. Also did you notice he didn't even attempt to say Tiramisu lol he said whatever that is lmao
Enjoy your videos! Here’s a little help w some of the words: Restaurant: Johnny “Cah-ree-nose” Appetizer: “Cah-li-mar-ee” Dessert: “teer-rah-ma-soo” If you’re ever stuck w some of the menu names, ask your wait staff. They’d be happy to help you out. Can you tell I’m a teacher? 😉
It’s not about the way he pronounces things. It’s the content of the video. Haters are going to hate, I guess! Will, don’t let these rude folks get you down! Love your videos and your content! Keep them coming, mispronunciations and all! I’m a teacher too and to my recollection, he didn’t ask anyone on here to correct him. Will and Dawn, we will have to try this place out the next time we are up. We tried Feasters on Teaster just because of your video! Loved it too!
@@debraphillips8399 HI Karen! If you're a teacher, your reading comprehension skills are lacking! I said I enjoy the videos and never once was "hating". I think it's cute to hear Will's pronunciations! Sorry to burst your bubble, ya hero you!
We love Johnny Carino's. Back when it first opened it stayed really busy but as new places have opened it looks like their business has dropped off. We enjoy it more than Olive Garden. We love their Italian crusty bread dipped in the olive oil blend. Everything y'all got looked delicious and was presented nicely. Dawn's wedge salad was a meal in itself! Really, y'all ended up with a nice meal to eat there then plenty to take home for another meal.
We ate there several years ago. "Average" at best with above average prices. Haven't been back. We don't go to Pigeon Forge to eat at a chain restaurant.
Thanks for sharing!!! I am Italian and love cooking. Making lasagne for Christmas so I can give my family carry out this year due to mr mcnasty. Lolo. Take care!!!! 🍝🙂💜👍
You should have went there on a Monday for dinner. They have family night where the family meals go for the single portion price. You and Dawn could have shared a family size of the chicken parm/lasagna/etc and still have leftovers for around 20 bucks. When my wife and I go to Pigeon Forge, Monday nights are always reserved for Carinos.
Johnny Carinos was my favorite Italian chain when they used to have them around me my best friend and I would go all the time in high school. Loved the Bow tie festival pasta dish. Haven’t been to one in at least ten years
I have ate lunch there. Love it. What makes it expensive is the appetizers. They all look good and it makes you want to order more. The salad Dawn got is very good . Blood pressure friendly iceburge lettuce. Thanks guys for another wonderful review. And yes also lots of leftovers.
Now that you've went to Branson, MO, do you guys like Branson more or less than Pidgeon Forge / Gatlingburg? They are very similar. I've been to Branson many times but only PF/G one time. I do love both however.
I know this is off topic but can you recommend a cabin place to stay in the smokeys mountains area ( pigeon forge or Gatlinburg ) would love to hear your input on it
I would definitely try this place. The food looks amazing and I love Italian bread like that with the oil and herbs. They do that at Carrabba's Italian Grill.
We have one of those up here in Indiana in Muncie. We love it and go there often. Our go to is the bread and the Italian Queso without the jalapeños and it rocks! The Pizzas there are off the chain good and I have had nothing bad from there. So glad to see you doing a review of one down near you. Can't wait to get down there and see for myself how good it is. Thanks for taking us along on your food review! You two ROCK!
So glad you reviewed this place. It's right across from the hotel I always stay at (I can see it behind you), so I love going there. The food and atmosphere are awesome. :)
The food looks delicious 🤤. We’ve passed this restaurant about a million times but never stopped in...will have to change that in the future 👍. Thanks for the “ride along” livestreams, we always enjoy them❤️. Did not know about that new Publix shopping center....sweet!
We loved that restaurant for so many years but last time we were there the food was flavorless and burnt including burnt garlic. So sad because we waited an hour to be seated and the young waiter was interested in the waitresses 🤷♀️
