Excellent video! Your review was very accurate based on my experience. You deliver brutal honesty with such accuracy, class and poise. We visited here back in 2020, before I started this channel and it is definitely a hit or miss place, depending on what you get. They do certain things well and others not so well. If you find something you like there, probably best to stick with it or try something similar. Everyone's food looked really good though and I'm glad you had a good visit overall. You did a fantastic job rolling with the audio issues. Similar thing happened to me at Local Goat, but it's all good. Your videos will always be great because of the Allstar cast and top-notch production. You didn't miss a beat, to be perfectly honest.
We agree. The lasagna and calamari were great but the other items were mediocre. Did you ever figure what happened to your audio at the Local Goat? I still can’t figure out why it sounded muffled when we went to Johnny Carino’s but the remainder of the video was more clear. We bet that your grandmother made some amazing Italian dishes. The food at Johnny Carino's was delicious but it was too much. We live about 3 hours from J.C.s and visited here in July so we unfortunately couldn't take anything home with us for leftovers. The sweet tea was definitely excellent here. You’re so right, it’s hard to find perfectly brewed sweet tea when going out to eat but Johnny Carino’s was great. The calamari was excellent. Thanks for showing the menu with the prices. I love Italian food the calamari ugh I wanted to jump though screen to taste it. Yeah, sadly Italian restaurant here unless chain like Olive Garden same thing last only few years. I'm not sure why that is?
The calamari here was so good. It was interesting that they advertised the sauce for the calamari as being spicy, but we could not taste any spiciness to it at all. We would like to know why Italian restaurants often go out of business as well. It would seem like the profit margins would be great with pasta being so inexpensive.
