Harvey was 55 years old and Johnny was 56 at this time...and Ed was 59 years old...that will shock some of you folks...It shocked me...as I am around the same age.
I agree with your sentiments. I'm 52 and have fond memories of watching Carson with my Dad. Used to watch with Grandpa, when I would stay the night at their house. He was about the same age as I am, now. Funny, how we were younger, how we thought someone was really OLD when they were in their 50's. Now that I'm that age, I definitely don't think that way any more.
@@CJOlinI’m only 25, been watching jJohnny Carson since I’m 16 bc I don’t watch much tv or shows from this new age. The 60s & 70s seems so much more simpler and joyful times..Johnnys monologues are the best even when he bombs 😂😂
Johnny at the end of the monologue or at the end of a desk routine would normally introduce "a new sponsor to the Tonight Show" - I wonder back then, how much it cost to advertise during the Tonight Show? Must have been worth a fortune to NBC.
