This was one of my dad’s favorite songs. He told me he wanted it to play at his funeral. He died on May 2nd 2024. The following Tuesday, this was the third song to play at his funeral. He was one of the best things to ever to happen to me. 🕊️💔

A beautiful old Negro Spiritual song from the plantations of the Old Deep South. I was taught this by an old retired black minister who was a friend of ours.

This song gives something , to all of us.
