2 years of Johnny Madrid Lancer was not nearly enough! He was the coolest and the sexiest cowboy ever! Portrayed by the most beautiful and talented actor.
Omg he was so hot...even in later yrs on Wiseguy, Cagney and Lacey and Highway to Heaven....I so loved him...he was born same yr as my daddy was & died a few mos before my dad. As a little girl I prayed to meet him !!!
This is one of my favourite Lancer episodes; not only is it well written but the acting is great and I love to watch the way James Stacy rides a horse - just swings himself up into the saddle so fluidly, agility and grace... he was one hell of a horseman as well as a great actor. Love him x
Just want to hug Johnny just loved this man over 40 years can't stop watching this Johnny Madrid lancer Scott Boston lancer together again up in haven rip cowboys
THIS VIDEO, CAME TO BE A PREDICTION OF WHAT HIS LIFE BECAME, AFTER HIS LOSS OF HIS LEG & ARM. BUT HE BECAME AN INSPIRATION TO HIS FELLOW MAN, BECAUSE HE COULD HAVE FELT LIKE DYING, BUT THE WILL TO LIVE MEANT MORE. HIS LIFE MAY HAVE FLASH BEFORE HIS BEAUTIFUL EYES, BUT HE STOP TO BLINK AT THE CROSSROADS OF LIFE, & CHOSE WHICH ONE MEANT THE MOST. WE ARE GLAD THAT HE DID CHOOSE THE WAY OF LIFE & HOPE. (NOTE) WE MISS YOU JAMES( BUT IN OUR HEARTS, YOU ARE ALIVE AGAIN & WHOLE AGAIN, AS JOHNNY LANCER ON YOUR BEAUTIFUL, PALAMINO BARRANCA RACING ACROSS THE LANCER LAND. A LANCER FAN. 🎥😍😀😪
Astounding.....how much I enjoy this....and JS...so good! His flawless riding, his characteristic lowering of his head, his facial expressions, his emotion! That swagger and walk! Never tire of it....!
I love this episode, the horse reminds me of my Delta. She's a black beauty. When ever I think of Johnny Madrid I think of the song Desperado by the Eagles. This show gets in your heart forever, I was 13 when it came on and all these years later when I watch the episodes I'm transformed back into that 13 yr old loving Johnny!
Wow! I'm so glad to have found all these "Lancer" goodies on RU-vid - been waiting for a fix for 40 years or so!!! This is so great - wonderful images and music xxx
I love the way he gets into the saddle too. I know lots of people who can do it, I can't. I am way too short with a tall horse and too old to think about breaking more bones from a horse fall but I love watching it! I love watching every single episode but it's bittersweet knowing what happened after, wish we could turn the clock back. He was a 13 yr old's dream.
Never tire of seeing Johnny and his father together. The guilt, the head tilt, that boyish smile as if it would solve everything. Which in all reality it probably had most of the time in his past life..but not with his old man. Nice video and nice song to go with it.
This is such a great compilation of James Stacy's rivetting performance as JML. You just can't take your eyes from him when he is on screen, and his performance is as fresh as the the day it was filmed. Surely Fox can see how many fan videos there are, and how many views they get, and see how much money they could make??!!
I thought Bonanza was the best until I came accross Lancer, hands down the best tv western, James Stacey was perfection in his acting, his western wardrobe unmatched by any western, wish this series had gone on for more then two seasons, but it's evident because its was the best, more money was spent making it, and we appreciate the episodes we have !

Very classy editing on this one - I'm very impressed. I can see you put a lot of thought and effort into it. *Sigh, this is my favourite episode. Sooo many good scenes and you've put them together extremely well with the music. Love it! That smile in the final scene is so sweet.

I'm not doing that one... LOL... smiles... JVD
Very good JVD. I love the clips especially the ones with Scott and Johnny together enjoying life. The song is very meaningful and you did an excellent job putting it all together as usual. 2 thumbs up!!!!
@ApplegateFarmWVa ... thank you so much... I hope your kids enjoy it... I am not so much gifted in this instance... as an imaginative computer geek editor... LOL... it was a great show and the song is really meaningful... so I had much help... smiles to you... JVD
@stareyes1326 ... thank you so much... I am doing what I can do... if you have a minute please stop by the channel and sign the petition to have the show released... there is a link on the side panel of the channel... smiles to you... JVD
Thank you so much... but the 'fan videos' are not enough... especially if most of them are made by only a few fans... and this video has been digitally re-masterd... recolored and restored to make it appear as Lancer might if it were restored... but sorry... original 'Lancer'... the actual film... is in really bad 40 year old condition... so they would have to spend a lot of money to restore it and release the DVD's... so working toward that goal... but...not enough fans yet... thank you... JVD
@1sjv1 ... thank you... I digitally recolor each frame and do a lot of definition work on them... they only exist on my computer... LOL... I try to imagine what it looked like... and do a lot of make it up as you go.... smiles... JVD
@damaster9991 .....
.... o nome dele ... Estou trabalhando como um louco .... para você ... LOL ... JVD
I think that Lancer has the biggest following of fans of the genre on You Tube or at least it seems that way. The clips are very well put together and also the quality is good with many. Horses - don't you just love them. The black stallion reminds me of Fury - remember him? Incidentally where exactly was the ranch, where is Moia Coya? (Spelling?) Texas, Arizona or New Mexico?
@ClassicTVwesternnut .... YBSG your a nasty old snake... slinking around for cowboys to take... if you look close... at what you've got at home... they are just a bunch of well made...CLONES.... LOL... mine all mine... hehehehe... JVD
