After all the hate he’s gotten over the years since failing out of the NFL, I think Johnny looks at skip as one of the few media personalities who still give him that genuine feeling he had when he was on top of world in 2012. A feeling of reassurance/ nostalgia, like a time capsule going back to what it felt like living those highest of highs.

I Saw Johnny in Montreal (CFL) he was still struggling with addictions. He was bad bad. You could tell the fall from grace killed his spirit. He seems to be at peace though. Good on him.

I moved to College Station in fall 2012, and it was absolute madness. I don't think anyone really knew how big of a deal it was back then. That said, I think in general everyone absolutely loved Johnny, but ended up quite disappointed in him. I'm really happy to see that he is at peace now and can appreciate those times. I went to training camp Day 2, in Berea Ohio on August 1st 2014 and Johnny Manziel was one of the only players that didn't stick around a few minutes to sign autographs. Ill never forget that.
