Bernard Sumner's kindness and humility in keeping himself in the background, leaving Marr always in the spotlight, is to respect the "owner" of the show and the audience. great! bulunga
Good to see Bernard is just as bad live as when he’s doing New Order tracks lol - but you’ve just gotta love him amazing contribution to music over the years - great track, great version, great performers
That's such a great album and song. Like to see Bernard just get up there and have some fun and not give a fck. Two living legends on stage right there
Barney was always a weak singer, that's what's interesting about him, he never really wanted the singing spot but he still did it. I hate seeing comments about age. Not everybody age the same and it doesn't define a person. Even if you hate him for many reasons i think people should save those comments for themselves
He's always been a weak guitarist as well. Joy Division are a cool band and all but sometimes when I watch their live footage I wonder what is Stephen Morris doing with them.
The ONLY thing I don't like about the group "Electronic" is how difficult it is to search for them by text or voice in the music services ;-). ... their name being both a band and an entire genre of music (ha!). Otherwise, one of my favorites!
Is it possible Johnny's tuned down, then using a capo, or is that not something guitarists do? I'm a guitar rube. Chordwise, I think I see the D, the Cadd9, G, but then not sure what's after that. Bmaj7?
Really...really sad :-( This shows the difference between the good and artists who when they appeared were on another planet perfectly as they age. I remember this track when it 1st came out and Bernie in 80's & 90's with New Order & Electronic and thought they were good. I also thought Dave Gilmour & Pink Floyd were on another planet then. Unfortunately Bernie is now showing his age...badly, whereas Dave Gilmour & what remains of Pink Floyd are still living on another planet and continues to blow me away when Gilmour plays his guitar.
